*Important Reunion Update*

Hello Spartans,

There have been some changes to the reunion plans. It takes a lot of money to put on a formal event and unfortunately ticket sales have been too low to support the reunion we planned.  We understand these are unusual times and not everyone was ready to commit to a big event. That’s okay, but we still want everyone to have the opportunity to get together!

So, in lieu of a formal event, please join us for a meet-up on June 3 at the Battery. No itinerary, just an opportunity to eat and drink with friends and classmates.

Can’t wait to reunite in June! RSVP on Eventbrite so we can keep you in the loop (link in bio).

Today we’re shining the spotlight on the twins, & !

After graduating HS, Casey and Courtney attended GPC for about 2 years before realizing college wasn’t for them.
Now they both currently enjoy working at Publix. Courtney is an Assistant Store Manager in GA and Casey is a Bakery Manager in FL.

Courtney has a 4 year old daughter and another baby girl on the way☺️. After Casey battled cancer for a year and beat it she decided to move to Tampa and continue working for Publix down there.

Their favorite HS memories were playing softball and being In JROTC.

We asked them what have they learned in the last 10 years? Their responses:
Courtney: “In the last 10 years i have learned that life shouldn’t be just about working and paying bills. Time flies by, especially when you start having kids. Enjoy every moment you have.”

Casey: “Don’t take life for granted because you never know what obstacles you may face. Always remain positive and keep your friends and family close.”

Alexis’ high school activities included orchestra and playing on the softball team.

When we asked Alexis to reflect on her favorite high school memories, she replied, “sometimes I’d skip lunchtime and head to Mr. Lupiani (Mr.Loop I’d call him lol) and work on graphic design and just talk. He really helped shape my love for design and overall creative expression.”

A random fact from Alexis: “I knew I was good at Entrepreneurship the moment I realized I made a killing selling cupcakes in school my senior year to fund my Debutante. If you ever bought a cupcake from me I greatly appreciated it 💕💕😂”

In the past 10 years, Camille has learned that “high school in no way prepared us for adulthood 😂😂😂 And also that time waits for no one so spend your time doing what you’re passionate about and moving in your purpose… that’s one thing you’ll never regret🤍”

Happy hump day Spartans! This week we’re shining the spotlight on .ashley.richards

We asked Lauren “in what ways has North Springs had an impact on your career and helped shape who you are today?”
She replied, “I totally believe if it wasn’t for the North Springs Performing Arts Magnet Program, I would not be successful in the field that I am in today. Not only did North Springs help me discover my passion for acting, but the Performing Arts Faculty believed in my dreams and helped me get into Elon University’s wonderful BFA Acting Program. North Springs helped me become more professional, disciplined, creative, and of course, educated for my college years. Thanks to North Springs, I was given the tools and help that I needed to get to the next level.” 🔥

We also asked Lauren about her favorite high school memory, she replied, “definitely being part of the play “Metamorpheses” my senior year. I got to share the stage with 7 of my closest friends and perform a show that revolved around a pool of water. That’s right…we literally built a pool on stage. Hands down to this day, it is still one of the coolest experiences I have ever had!”

She shared that “she was heavily involved with the Theatre department” and served as “President of both the International Thespian Society and National Honor Society.” Tate also reminisced on when she “was voted “Best Dressed” senior year of high school” and stated “it should come as no surprise that I proceeded to start a career in Fashion Merchandising.”

Tate now lives in Switzerland with her husband after tying the knot in early 2020. In the meantime, she has “oscillated between spending COVID in lockdown and traveling around Europe.”
