Words cannot begin to express how thankful I am for this birthday gift. My great, great grandfather was a blacksmith. He passed away in 1970 at 90 years old, but a piece of him will carry on in the form of a beautiful Solidrock Knives piece of art. My mom and dad commissioned him to use a piece of a "GeeWhiz" horse-drawn plow for the blade, a wagon wheel spoke for the handle, and a piece of trace chain served to make the pins. Photos can't begin to capture how well Scott did making this knife. Someday, I will pass this down to my son, and he will have a connection to his Great, Great, Great Grandfather, "Papa Wilson".

This is not goodbye, but it is "Goodbye, for now".
I am NOT quitting music, but I am stepping away for a few months.
As you may know, my wife is expecting. Our little boy will be here in just a few short months. That being said, my last show in Gainesville will be on Sunday 12/31 (New Year's Eve).
I will be playing a mix of 80s and 90s country covers, along with some original tunes as well. We will toast the New Year with a Jello Shot Toast at midnight, and I would love to share that with you!
