Want to keep your child’s identity private but still want to post family photos online? ❓📸

I work with parents all the time who are electing to not show their children’s faces on social media. They have concerns about privacy, safety, and consent, but that doesn’t mean they don’t want to share their lives with their loved ones and community online.

Good thing there are many creative ways to share your special moments on social media that do not compromise those values! I work with poses that allow the beauty of my family to shine while not focusing on the children’s faces. (Let me know if you want more specifics in the comments! ✍️)

Now obviously, in a session for your personal use you will get photos of their faces in your private gallery, but I also pepper in photos that allow you to share the beauty safely on social media without compromising style.

A Message to My Amazing Clients: 💌

As we welcome 2025, I find myself reflecting on the past year with so many emotions. 2024 was a tumultuous year for me personally, full of challenges that I never could have predicted. But through it all, one thing has remained constant—my deep gratitude for all of you.

To my incredible clients—thank you. I am so grateful to have the amazing clients that I have. Clients who come back year after year and feel like family. Clients who do not hesitate when I tell them I have to rush to the ER and need to have a trusted associate cover their event. Clients who tell me, please do not edit my photos while you are in the hospital, be with your family. Clients who refer me to their friends and mention me in rooms full of potential new business. Clients who share their big life announcements, holiday cards and heartfelt wishes of the New Year with me. Your support, understanding, and unwavering kindness have truly been a lifeline throughout this year.

All this means more to me than you could ever know. You are not just clients; you are part of my extended family. Your loyalty, trust, and friendship continue to inspire me every single day 💕

As we step into this new year, I’m beyond excited for what’s ahead. 2025 promises more space for creativity, more bandwidth to give you even better experiences, and fresh inspiration for new, fun themed mini sessions. I can’t wait to continue capturing your stories and preserving your memories.

There’s something special about stepping back and capturing the couple in front of their wedding venue 🧡 It grounds all the small, intimate, tender moments within the larger story of their day. Its more than just a backdrop- it’s where it all unfolds, and reminds them of the big picture: the start of forever 💕

Every couples venue choice is as unique as their love! In this case, Ali & Jason rented a gorgeous lodge where their bridal party could spend the weekend with them and the ceremony was right in the front yard. How special is it to remember the entirety of the property in addition to the small intimate moments of their wedding day?
