Thank everyone for all of the positive messages these past couple of days regarding Jordan & Mikayla.
I am the blessed one to be a part of such an amazing life altering experience.

For anyone who doesn’t know, my parents best friends are family to Jordan, and when I saw his GoFundMe with his story, I called my connections and got permission to share on a wedding resource group that I am a part of. I thought we would throw it out there and see if there were some vendors who would be willing to donate their time / talents to throw J&M their wedding.

We had over 100 comments to my original post with every vendor imaginable, willing to donate with no questions asked.

None of this would have been possible without them.

And when I came on board, Taylor Jordan was already working on wedding details. So we joined forces and arranged all the details to pull it off in 1 month. In addition to all the vendors, it would not have been possible without her. She pours her heart into everything, and loves her family more than anything I’ve ever seen. ♥️

I wanted to formally come out and thank all the vendors and I HIGHLY recommend every single one of them.

I recently came across the quote “Pressure is a Privilege”. (Thanks “Breaking Point”) and I had an epiphany.

These last couple of months I have been going through a rollercoaster of highs and lows, personally and professionally. I have my moments where I battle thoughts like, “Is this for me?” or “Can I get through this?” and literally the next day we get the best news ever.

When I heard this quote, it put things in a different perspective for me. How can you get anywhere in life if you let the little things stop you? Not every client is going to go with you, people will not respond but that’s life. Anything worth having takes work whether that be in business or relationships.

My husband’s favorite words of advice are “If it were easy, everyone would do it”. So, if you needed to hear this, keep going. Do things to be intentional. Never settle or sell yourself short. Know your value.

And by no means do I have this all figured out, but these are things that I have learned to get better at going on two years of business. Push through the hard times, and don’t give up on yourself, because “Pressure is a Privilege”. – Billie Jean King
