Protect your peace. My #1 tip for having the best day of your life has nothing to do with hiring an A-list band or coordinating killer logistics. You must be intentional when deciding who you allow into your space on your wedding day. ⁠

Do you have a cousin that gets under your skin? They should not be in your wedding party. Do you have a family friend who triggers you by asking too many questions? They should not be allowed to "swing by" your hotel room while you are in the middle of hair and makeup. If you aren't good at managing conflict, talk to your wedding planner about how to establish and communicate boundaries and, if needed, let them be the bad guy. We're pretty good at it. ⁠
