Someone on a fb group was ranting about not wanting to pay an officiant fee for "10 minutes" of work, and ofcouse many other Brides-to-be jumped on it talking about how wedding officiants just stand there reading some regular words at a ceremony and shouldn't be charging so much.

Well... Most professional officiants I know, do not take only 10 minutes unless it's a quick courthouse ceremony, and even those takes longer because you still need to fill out paperwork and register.

There's many hours behind the creation of ceremonies, from consulations calls, to develop content for your scripts based on hours of speaking with you and/or reading information you sent over, to learn about and connect with your other vendors to make sure that everything works perfectly for YOU... Rehearsals, walk- throughs, timelines... "Therapy".... and more!

Our rates do not only cover the many HOURS it takes us to customize your personalized ceremony, but the cost of doing business as well like:

•Business licenses and insurance
•Cell phone and internet bills
•Website and domain fees
•Assistants and staff
•Rent
•Professional services (like CPAs or lawyers)
•Software subscription fees
•Marketing and advertising costs (so you could find us)
•Taxes (yes, I know you don't like that either)
•Gas (did you check the prices now a days?)
•Hair & Makeup (we need to look decent to represent you)
•Attire (specially beloved SHOES that can get ruined on outdoors ceremony on a rainy day)

Choose your officiant wisely, do not question their prices.
It's ok if you can't afford it or don't think that you need a premium service.
You will always find many cheap vendors, you will only find a few qualified professionals that you can vibe with and will go above and beyond to make sure that they deliver the ceremony of your dreams❣️
