A few of our member were able to travel to the other side of Washington to be part of an event that was hosted by Voices of Pacific Islands Nation (VOPIN) at the Clearwater Casino. In addition to being able to witness the event, we were also given the oppurtunity to dress their Taupou for the evening.

It is with great excitement that we officially announce the date of our biggest event of the year. Fa'atiniotausala Siva Academy will be hosting their 2nd Annual End of term production on September 21st, 2024.

Fa’atiniotausala Siva Academy would like to give all the glory and honor to our Heavenly Father for being with us every step of the way as we endured our journey to an amazing event, San Francisco Samoan Flag Day. As we reflect on our journey to and from San Francisco, we are reminded that it is your love, support and prayers that have gotten us this far. Thank you to National Samoan Chiefs Council for the opportunity to be included in this celebration. We would like to thank all our parents, supporters, families and friends who, also, traveled to California to support our academy. We would like to thank our village of supporters who weren’t able to be in attendance, your support went unnoticed. Lastly, we would like to thank our students who put on an amazing show. From preparations for the event to show time, you all represented Fa’atiniotausala Siva Academy with grace and elegance and exhibited incredibly. Fa’atiniotausala Siva Academy extends our hearts of gratitude and appreciation to each and everyone of you for the endless love and support.

Our girls took stage for the last time today. This will be our last public performance for the sea*on and we are super grateful and blessed for all the great opportunities we have had this term. We were able to partake in 17 events this term & will be finishing off the term with our End of Term production.

We came from counting down months and now days 🥹 We have come a long way and have faced so many challenges just to make this happen.
The orgirnal plan was to take only 12 girls but we thought this will have been a great oppurtunity to show all the girls how it feels like to perform somewhere besides their hometown. We are super happy that a TOTAL of 30 individuals will be representing us on stage at San Francisco ♥️

We’re excited to announce the next group gracing the SF Samoan Flag Day Stage this August, all the way from the state of Washington, Fa’atiniotausala Siva Academy!
Fa’atiniotausala Siva Academy was established last year June and has served as a learning institution for Siva Samoa to over one hundred students. We currently have a total of 82 students this term and is the largest dance academy in Washington state. Our mission here is to teach the basics of Siva Samoa to every student one step at a time until it is mastered.
Come through to the Presidio of San Francisco on Saturday August 3, 2024 for a fun-filled day celebrating Samoan culture, history and excellence!

Happy Samoan Language week ‼️ Press play & listen to our beautiful Tinifu babies as they sing their hearts out to our favorite Samoan Hymn- "Fa'afetai" We strarted teaching time this song since day one and the kiddos are slowly mastering it ♥️
When we first started planning this years term, we set out a goal to teach all our students the words to our favorite hymn- "Fa'afetai" Many of our students struggle to pernounce the words, but you can hear them sing their hearts out in this video. We got a bit emotional listening to this video because all the hard work we try to put into learning this hymn is slowly paying off. The most common question that was asked when teaching this was "what does the words mean?" The answer is truly simple- "Is to love & be thankful" Father, we are truly blessed and loved and thankful for the oppurtunity we have to teach all these young souls what we are truly made of. Proud moment right here, and mostly proud to be Samoan ♥️
