If you have not seen STATICOM you will definitely want to check them out at the event next September
Please welcome Ron Yacovetti and Lourdes Gonzalez
From the staticom project
Ron Yacovetti Bio:
Author of “Paranormally Speaking: Knowingly Talking to the Unknown”, “ITC Technomancy: The Magical World of Electronic Spirit Communication” and “TDSi: The Digital Seance initiative” “Paranormalization: Memoirs of an Academic Layperson”
Member of the SPR: Society of Psychical Research, Cambridge, UK since 2022
Member of Academia.edu / Journalist/ Idealist / Satirist
BA Communications
Four-time author Ron Yacovetti is living in his home state of New Jersey. However, he began investigating the paranormal during his 14 years as a resident of Los Angeles, California. This geographic diversity gave him the opportunity to investigate some of the most notable haunts on both coasts.
He has a unique background as a stand-up comedian (aka satirist), a writer, and Paranormal Investigator. Ron’s background with satire, along with this empirical experience, has shaped his philosophical view of the absurd and paranormal. He applies a keen sense of awareness when hypocrisy and a lack of continuity of thought pervade the paranormal landscape. He is truly the cynic’s, cynic.
Over years of research into audio phenomena, Ron believes we need to not only focus more on the study of consciousness, but also Philosophy, if we are to ever influence the mainstream physicalist science world instantiation and open up genuine acceptance to the reality of these inexplicable events the world over. He believes that our collective works in this field, built upon a foundation of Analytic Idealism, the concept of reality or nature as being mentation, makes what we view as supernatural, to instead be quite natural.
And while Ron enjoys all aspects of investigating the unknown, his affinity and area of specificity in the afterlife research was almost instantly discovered in the area known as ITC: Instrumental Trans-Communication. Most know ITC from a variety of devices seen on TV such as the Spirit Box or Ghost Boxes, but his methodology of choice is rooted in a more pure form of spirit contact. He feels the work he and Lourdes Gonzalez has done, combined with the innovative works of Tony and Cherie Rathman, is and will impact anomalous vocal research for years to come.
Ron continues doing innovative afterlife research and experimentation rooted in the European methodology of ITC known as DRV: DIRECT RADIO VOICE which through the removal of any radio has evolved into what he, Lourdes Gonzalez, Tony and Cherie Rathman now call “The Staticom Project” - producing anomalous vocals out of pure white noise.
Lourdes Gonzalez Bio
Lourdes, born and raised in Brooklyn, New York and now residing in New Jersey has always been fascinated with the paranormal. Now, as a paranormal investigator, Lourdes loves to collaborate with several different paranormal teams.
She strongly believes in para-unity and says learning from others and sharing what she has learned is a key factor in the search for answers into the unknown. Some of her favorite places to investigate are The Shanley Hotel, White Hill Mansion, The Queen Mary and David Oman’s home in California which would be one of Lourdes’ more memorable haunts.
As an investigator, Lourdes loves exploring and experimenting using a range of equipment such as spirit boxes, sensor lights, music boxes just to name a few. But her favorite equipment is a simple digital recorder. Lourdes feels it’s important to be open to the fact of using different types of equipment and learning new methods.
Lourdes’ newest endeavor with her partner Ron Yacovetti is ITC: Instrumental Transcommunication using a method known as Staticom, which she helped develop alongside Ron, Tony Rathman and his wife Cherie. The method itself is evolutionary with a tech spin, rooted in DRV: Direct Radio Voice, a method she continuously finds fascinating.
Lourdes says she still gets blown away by Class A EVP vocals captured by using a good old-fashioned recorder. But the new endeavor of Staticom has left her speechless as it is in her opinion the purest form of communication that comes closest to capturing a voice on a recorder out of thin air.
One of the rare and exceptional abilities Lourdes brings to any investigative or research-based endeavor, is a career spanning almost two decades, as a court reporter. Her training and years of experience in listening to voices speaking in varying tones, speeds, cadences, accents and more, as well as oftentimes on top of each other, makes her a linguistic specialist in the field of anomalous audio capture and interpretation.
One of the most fascinating and repeatable forms of aggregating paranormal evidence is audio capture. And with millions of people worldwide experiencing inexplicable phenomena, the quest for an understanding, a reconciliation and a means to get answers has never been more prominent. Almost every effort to learn more about the spirit world and its interconnectivity with our realm includes a means of communication. From rappings and tappings on walls, to lighting up electromagnetic devices, to the manipulation of metal dowsing rods, humanity has sought direct communication to not only establish contact with the other side, but to prove that it is something to take seriously. To this point, the data
worldwide is abundant!
In the roots of paranormal research, it was affirmed that electronics could and would play a vital role in such extraordinary communication, when white noise was used as audio support to record voices out of thin air, a practice inevitably to be known as EVP: Electronic Voice Phenomena. It would be the introduction of a vacant, barren radio frequency in the AM band, used as a source of white noise, that led to the astounding form of spirit communication, known as DRV: Direct Radio Voice. Yet despite its results, a lack of media presence had DRV all but lost.
Today, the work of Ron Yacovetti, Lourdes Gonzalez, Tony Rathman and Cherie Rathman has not only brought back the method of DRV, they have evolved it into what is arguably the closest thing to Thomas Edison’s theoretical “Phone to the Dead”. Their research vetted this already solid process, removing all cynical low hanging fruit by removing the use of a radio for white noise and replacing it with a white noise generator. Additionally, they did two things unprecedented in spirit communication before now; taking all of the audio clean up done in review, hours or more after communication took place and instead, do it live in the moment of contact - AND - slowing down pure white noise in real time. This new offshoot of DRV, now without a radio, would then be termed STATICOM. This methodology, gaining exposure in the field, is considered by most who experience it, to be the future of spirit communication, no longer limited to the brevity of messages that the ghost boxes or phone apps seem limited to produce.
STATICOM is a closed circuit system with no opportunity to be polluted with any ambient voice or sound, with any broadcast voice or sound and with no explanation for clear voices out of pure white noise, completely devoid of data.
