After hosting the Kennebec Valley Council of Governments yesterday, today we held two celebrations of life—one in each room at the same time. 😅 Both families were wonderful and deeply appreciative of the venue and the hard work we put in to make it a meaningful experience for their loved ones.

The first wedding of the season is in the books — and what a gorgeous day it was! ☀️💍

When the forecast hinted at rain, I kept the energy high and the outlook positive — because around here, we manifest sunshine! And sure enough, the skies cleared just in time for a beautiful ceremony.

By 9 AM, our lovely bride was glowing in the bridal suite while we had already checked off all the big tasks: setup ✔️ decor ✔️ bouquet ✔️ rings ✔️ vendors on-site ✔️ bar ready ✔️ and of course — another check-in with the bride to make sure she was smiling!

As guests arrived, we greeted them with warm welcomes and big smiles. Salty Dog BBQ and Catering absolutely nailed it (as always) with a menu that had everyone talking.

Happy couple ✔️ happy guests ✔️ gorgeous day ✔️

We wrapped up the weekend on a high note with our Members Breakfast this morning, followed by setting up a beautiful baby shower in the banquet room. At the same time, we hosted an Army promotion reception in the Members Lounge! Now, it’s time to rest up before we welcome the Kennebec Valley Chapter of Credit Unions on Tuesday! The reception was catered by Good Eats Catering—look at that beautiful charcuterie board 🫐🧀

What a BUSY weekend! 😅 We were lucky to host the Cony Project Grad 2025 here, and I have to admit, it was a fantastic time! The room comfortably accommodated over 160 guests, with plenty of space for raffle items, a photo booth, and even a dancefloor! At the last minute, we set up March Madness games on the projector screen so guests could enjoy the game 🏀. The uplighting around the room, matching Cony’s colors, really added a nice touch! As you can see in the first photo, the clients were once again satisfied! This job is incredibly rewarding, and we absolutely love making our clients happy!

This past week, we had the pleasure of hosting an informational panel in our banquet room! As shown in the pictures, the space features a corner stage, perfect for panelists to sit. We also have the option to use a projector screen on the stage or simply place a podium. One of my favorite aspects of the room is its spaciousness—it easily accommodates 100 attendees in theater-style seating. There’s also plenty of room to add extra seating, food tables, and even high-top tables for guests to mingle and enjoy some snacks!

We are always delighted to host the Organization of Maine Nurse Leaders here at the Augusta Elks! We’re pleased to offer two spacious rooms for their use: the Members Lounge for their vendors and our Banquet Room for the event attendees. The two rooms are conveniently connected, ensuring easy access between them. The wonderful food was catered by C & C Knead Thyme Catering.
