Can you feel it?!?
I almost dare not say it, but I can feel fall creeping in. Not only can I feel it in the weather, but my body is as well. Feeling like it’s time to slow down and get ready to hibernate for winter.

Yet, there is still so much to do. End of summer and into fall can be one of the busiest times on the farm as we continue to grow loads of flowers until the first hard frost comes. Then the tasks of fall begin. Digging dahlias, planting tulips and ranunculus plus putting the farm to bed for winter. My mind is swirling!

Who wants farm fresh flowers?!? 💐

Today-Saturday we will have $20 bouquets available for pick up at the farm!

You can message us to reserve a bouquet to pick up or you can drop by between 8am-6pm to select your bouquet!

Flowers will be on the front porch in the shade.

You can pay via Venmo or we have a cash box on the post across from our flowers!

If it gets too hot out, we’ll move them to the cooler and can bring them out for you!

I took a little time after making my weekly bouquets to create a little something special for myself and I love how it turned out. Creamy whites with spots of blue and yellow.

Dahlia season is coming on strong with all of our warm weather while I’ve been away. This will be the longest I’ve ever been away from the farm…2 weeks. I know so much will have changed and am eager to get home and see all of the new beauty.

We still have a few more days left on vacation as we head to Montana for the 4th and then drive home with our kiddos who have been having the best time with their grandparents in Montana!

What’s you favorite color?!?

Mine is blue and there are very few blue flowers, so when these pale blue hydrangeas and bright blue bachelor buttons are blooming, I get really excited!

I snuck some of these favorites into this week’s bouquets that you can find at .at.home

Pro Tip: to keep your hydrangeas nice and hydrated. You can spray the flower heads with a water bottle or even dip the heads in a bowl of water. If you cut them from your garden, make sure to cut them early in the morning when they are most hydrated!
