Please join this Saturday (if it is safe status wise for you to do so). As a community we must stand up and share our voices. This is a non violent protest. If the government gets rowdy the instructions are to SIT DOWN peacefully not fight. We must do like MLK and others in the past. Be loud but be the change. Be a witness.
12pm-4pm Civic Center Downtown
There will also be resources and tabling at the event.
Senator Alex Padilla was arrested today at a DHS press conference for asking questions. Our representatives regardless of party shouldn’t be handcuffed for speaking.
