✨Wedding Planning Tips I Have On Repeat✨
My brides have heard me say these things at least once
1. Once you find your wedding dress, stop looking at Pinterest/other dresses! There will always be beautiful dresses, and you’ll look amazing in them, but the more you try on and keep browsing, the harder it will be to feel confident in your choice. Before I became a planner, I managed a bridal shop and I saw time and time again girls trying on dozens of dresses and feeling more and more overwhelmed with their choice. Keep it simple, this should be fun!
2. If you’re going to splurge on anything, it should be your photographer. These photos will be hung in your home and shared with many future generations. Think about your grandparents or great-grandparents wedding photos. I have clear and vivid memories of mine. They will be cherished for so many years and it’s worth the additional investment.
3. I will always recommend a seating chart, and here’s why: your guests are more likely to sit next to a stranger if they are told to. No one likes that awkward middle school cafeteria feeling of asking “can I sit here?”, save your guests the hassle of finding a seat and assign them a spot. I know creating a seating chart can feel overwhelming, but I’m here to help!
