I have so much to share from this wedding - it's almost debilitating. When I received the preview album from , I literally gasped. There is so much goodness and I just don't know where to start...Anyone else feel this way when you see your work through another lens (no pun intended 😉)? So many beautiful moments and beautiful people... there are just not enough squares to summarize it.

All this to say, I am going to be sharing so much from this weekend... so stay tuned! Here's just a little snippet of how it started.

Contemplating a bridal session with your photographer?We support your decision, no matter what ✨

But here are a few reasons why it may be the right move for you:
📸 It's the perfect trial run for everything - your hair, makeup, dress or suit, lighting, etc. Plus, it's just as beneficial for you as it is your photographer and makeup artist - any extra tweaks you want to make before your wedding can be found in bridal photos. You can really get a feel of your style and also get extra comfortable in front of the camera before your big day!
📸 You can wear your dress or suit more than once, which is always fun!
📸 You'll get more photos at your session of just you, so you can spend more time with your partner on the day of your wedding and get more photos of the two of you!
📸 This is optional, but you can choose a different location than your wedding venue! It's a great way to get photos in front of a spot that you adore and can mix up the vibe of your venue. A few spots we love are Laguna Gloria, Austin Country Club, Camp Lucy, and Lady bird Johnson Wildflower Center!

PS- check with your photographer to see if this is something that's included with your package!

Can I be real for a sec?Keeping the top tier of your wedding cake in your freezer until you celebrate your first wedding anniversary seems sentimental, but hot take: it doesn't taste that good 😅 Plus, it's not very sanitary, and that's coming from a twin boy mom 😂

Instead, have your bakery replicate your cake - whether it's just the top tier, cupcakes, or a mini cake. It'll be fresh, delicious, and just as nostalgic 😉

More little moments in time that I love from Ashley + Jack's day. Seemingly, it may not look like much to you. An invitation suite and flat lay. Upclose fabric details. Slingback block heels. An arrangement on a cocktail table. A record collection. An empty glass paired with a velvet leopard sleeve.But it's the accumulation of it all together, that tells the perfect story of A + J and their day. These are the little moments in between that matter, even if you think they don't -- It is all part of the narrative.

I don't just like my couples, I love my couples.
Like the, "I can't wait until you're down the aisle after you've been pronounced as married to give you the biggest bear hug celebrating this moment and then keeping you as a friend forever and ever, even after your wedding" kind of love.

My couples and I become friends and each others biggest supporters, looooong after their wedding celebration. That's why I truly love what I do. It's never just about the wedding for me. It's about THE PEOPLE. The connection. The relationships.

I can confidently say that every couple I work with would become an instant friend, even if we didn't work so closely together throughout their wedding planning. But to also plan their day? What a freaking joy it is.

If you're going to have a bridal party, know that everybody is going to look different.
Afterall, there's diversity with your bridal party and what they're wearing should be diverse, too. Not every style is going to look the same on every figure. Whether they're twirling in a dress or striding in a suit, embrace the diversity. You want your party to feel confident and comfortable, too -- that's part of creating inclusivity.

Our biggest piece of advice? Don't be afraid to play with patterns, colors, or styles. Even better... give your bridal party guidance on your vision, but let them find something that is comfortable, flattering, and still unique, within those guidelines.

Embrace the diversity of your party. It's always 100% worth it.
