It's been a busy few weeks for DJ Warden! 3 parties and coming up is our biggest wedding of the year! (So Far ;)). We're pulling out all the stops for this wedding, stay tuned next week for pictures.

Being a DJ is a fun job, but not everyone that plays music is a DJ. Song curation and selection is a major part, but here's a few more things we do:

1) We make sure to get the 'master quality' audio from professional and licensed DJ pools. Things like spotify and purchasing music on iTunes or Amazon do not give you the best quality audio file, in fact the audio is at best 256kbps bitrate. Master quality is 320 kbps. This means you are missing out on 64kbps of audio information that can really make a track pop.

2) We pre-process all audio for our target speakers.
Audio is made mostly for consumer devices, but when you try to pump the same track through a pro grade, loud-speaker system you may not be getting the best of your audio without preprocessing.

3) We use only pro-grade, professional equipment. Depending on venue size we also consider subs and high speakers to help make the audio the best.
The equipment you use matter… a low-end JBL system is going to sound 'fuzzy' and 'crackle' compared to ElectroVoice even Boss. (We exclusively use ElectroVoice)

4) We program custom light shows for the music and event.
We build playlists based off harmonic compatibility and moods. Factoring in high-energy blocks and low-energy blocks to keep the crowd engaged and not over-worked or under stimulated.

We've acquired some new toys to add to our lighting effect repertoire! These bad boys have multiple prisms and gobos that can easily splash color across even large dance floors with their 200watt bulb. Can't wait to try them out live!
