From the very beginning, Gerad was there to guide us through every decision and help us talk through all the little details. His vendor recommendations were spot-on, and he always knew exactly who to connect us with. When we inevitably got behind on planning tasks, Gerad gave us the gentle nudge we needed to stay on track.

One of the things we appreciated most was how he handled issues that arose. When we had a problem with one of our vendors, Gerad immediately stepped in, organized a conference call, and got everything sorted out so we could move forward stress-free. His professionalism and efficiency were unmatched.

On the wedding day, Gerad truly went above and beyond. “We set out to have a DIY wedding experience. We planned for months, accomplishing so much in terms of booking vendors and venues, deciding on decor (making much of it ourselves), and curating our day thoughtfully and carefully. Our reception venue required a day-of contact, and we just didn’t feel right choosing to burden a guest with that task. After searching as thoughtfully and carefully for a coordinator as we had for everything else, we found Gerad.

I cannot express in words how much I am grateful for the absolute joy of working with Gerad! He came in with professionalism that stunned me from our very first phone call. I never imagined our “little DIY wedding” could be taken to another level, but it was by everything he did. We had support throughout our planning from the moment of hiring him, and he immediately caught some potential snags from our first consultation. His attention to detail had us so incredibly comfortable that everything about our wedding would run smoothly. And it did! Though we had only had a handful of video calls and several emails/texts and hadn’t even met in-person until the wedding day, at the end of the evening, when everything was done and we bid him farewell, it truly felt like saying goodbye to a dear friend. The vendors we worked with had all previously worked with Gerad, and all had great things to say about him and assured us we were in excellent hands. Many guests have let us know ours was the best wedding they’ve attended, and I know that would not have been possible without Gerad’s service.

“Since I work events, I was able to plan everything for our wedding without assistance. But I wanted to make sure I had someone to help me on the day of so l or friends/ family wouldn’t have to stress or lift a finger. I interviewed quite a few coordinators. As soon as I spoke with Gerad, I knew we were on the same page. Every conversation we had was filled with advice, guidance, reassurance and anything else a bride needs to hear during stressful times. He even reminded us to get our marriage license which we had totally forgotten about!!! As I said at the beginning of this post, I have high expectations for my events and the way I like things to look and be executed. GERAD WAS A SECOND ME. I had zero stress and 100% completely trusted Gerad and also his Assistant Norma. They did everything the way I would have done it and it was perfection. “Gerad is worth his weight in gold. Well, he’s a small guy, so maybe even MORE!! I think his core strength is as a logistician. He could mobilize an army in a foreign land, I’m sure, and done it with a smile on his face. So, executing my daughter’s non-cookie cutter wedding with grace and always a smile, was a breeze for him.⁣

* Gerad was always available to answer questions; never made us feel as though we were imposing.⁣
⁣
* He had vendor suggestions and recommendations, but we did all the initial vendor meetings and selections because we wanted to.⁣
⁣
* Gerad managed all the vendor communications once selected, and especially in the last weeks leading up to the event.⁣
⁣
* He created and managed the “day of” timeline line a military general (but with a smile...) When a small thing didn’t happen exactly according to how we’d imagined in our minds, he let us know it was OK, this is normal, and not to worry, which was very calming.⁣
