When the event landscape shifted to virtual events, I quickly pivoted to planning virt

📲 The Famm Connect Launch Party Recap 🎉

On December 11th Famm hosted an incredible event for the q***r community, and I was honored to be their event planner. Hosted virtually to unite LGBTQ+ professionals and allies from across the globe, it spotlighted the debut of Famm Connect, the groundbreaking social networking app crafted specifically for LGBTQ+ professionals and business owners. And the buzz? It’s still going!
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Within two weeks of the event, over 500+ people signed up for the app and over 4000+ connections were made, marking it as a pivotal tool for community-building and collaboration.

A major highlight of the event was the panel discussion, where Blair Imani—creator of “Smarter In Seconds” moderated an engaging dialogue. Joined by Madison Butler of Blue Haired Unicorn, Max Siegel, Director of Trans&, and Spencer Hoddeson of Gay Water, the guests tackled the idea of “professionalism” through a q***r lens.

📚 Back-to-Cool: A Grown-Up Book Fair Adventure
This September, Cute Story Events brought the ultimate throwback to Tacoma with the Back-to-Cool Grown-Up Book Fair! Nostalgia was in full swing as we transformed the classic childhood book fair into a one-of-a-kind experience for adults. Attendees browsed curated book selections, shopped quirky stationery, and indulged in delicious snacks—charcuterie anyone?

The energy was electric as local authors shared their stories with new readers, and drag queens performed and read to us.

From the heartwarming connections made during book swaps, to dancing drag queens, this event was all about celebrating the joy of reading and building community.

🌌 Sleepless Under the Stars with Supper Sociale ✨🎥
On a dreamy summer evening, Cute Story Events teamed up with Supper Sociale to host Sleepless Under the Stars—a movie night like no other! Guests cozied up under twinkling skies with blankets by the fire, indulged in drinks from a dirty soda bar, and enjoyed fresh popcorn and a spread of delicious snacks. Goody bags filled with fun surprises added an extra touch of magic to the night.
