Beerburg's NYE Brewday
In case y’all didn’t know, Beerburg is a family-run business founded by Trevor Nearburg and now managed by me, his twin brother Ross! We both have over a decade of experience in the Texas brewing industry, but I’ve been mainly on the office side of things until I took over Beerburg last Fall. This past NYE I joined our brewer Gino for my first official brew day. As it turns out, Trevor and Gino brewed Beerburg’s first ever beer on New Years in 2019, gearing up for the opening of the Brewery. It was actually my dad who pointed out the coincidence, and it just felt so cool to see History and Future echoing together as we take on this next phase of our vision for Beerburg. The beer was Devil’s Claw, and we can’t wait for y’all to try it out. Happy New Year, and Cheers!
Join us Saturday, December 9th for a jolly morning of festive fun. Bring your little ones to meet Santa Claus and enjoy a delicious breakfast. They’ll have a chance to decorate their own cookies and get into the holiday spirit! This event is a toy drive for Operation Blue Santa, so please bring a new unwrapped toy to help 5000+ Austin families this holiday season. Donations accepted through December 14th. We’ll also have Alvie’s on site from 12-3pm for a boot party. Boot Party is a personalized boot-fitting that Alvies brings directly to you. They’ll bring a few sizes and styles of your choice, for you to find the perfect pair, and answer all your boot-wearin’ questions with trusted expertise. We're super excited about our inaugural Noon Year's Eve celebration this Saturday starting at 11am. Featuring live music, a glitter bar to get festive, a photobooth for you and your crew, and a 12pm countdown to NOON! Ring in the New Year and be home before bedtime.
What’s Trevor up to now? Collecting cochineal bugs from the pads of the prickly pear cacti! These tiny bugs have a protective exoskeleton fillled with carminic acid. They’ve been used historically as a food and garment dye, and we’ve got JUST ENOUGH for an experiment or two. What do you think Trevor is going to make?

Big news! We have completed the installation of our brand new 9 hole disc golf course! As we finish up landscaping and prepare for the grand opening, be sure to stop by and toss a few discs on the putting green next to the beer garden.
