What is included in a wedding DJ's price? If you’re feeling some sticker shock at wedding DJ prices, remember there’s a lot more to a wedding DJ’s role in your wedding day than simply showing up to your reception and playing music.
• Time: Not only does the cost of a wedding DJ include the hours he or she will be performing at your wedding, but it also includes the time it takes

for your music pro to prepare for your big day. Before your wedding, your DJ will spend time creating your playlist and a unique script for your wedding. And on your wedding day, your DJ will travel, set up, perform, and break down—note that if he or she must travel a long distance to your wedding, you may incur an additional charge. (.56 a mile to a venue over 30 miles)
• Equipment: The last thing you want on your wedding day is for your DJ’s equipment to break—so part of a DJ’s fee goes to purchasing and maintaining the most up-to-date equipment including (but not limited to) speakers, microphones, and more.
• Music: It’s true—your DJ must buy his or her music, and you certainly want to make sure that he or she has lots of songs from which to choose!

* What equipment do wedding DJs provide? Your wedding DJ can provide a variety of equipment, depending on your needs. A typical sound system for a wedding DJ includes a DJ deck or controller, speakers, microphones, aand lighting. There are also some fun extras your DJ may offer. Most wedding venues will have a video system of some sort. Pricing: $1200.00 (Discounted if at a Shady’s Locations)
- 4hrs of dance reception music/lights
-More time cost is $100 an hr.
- Wedding Party Grand March and music
- Dinner Music or background music
- Garter Song, Wedding party Song, bouquet toss song, father daughter dance, Mother/son Dance, other custom dances.
- Any wedding Games
- Provide wireless Mic for speeches
- Provide Indoor or Outdoor sound/mic for the ceremony (Extra Fee of $200)
- A great memorable time!

Hello Everyone!

The Stearns County Special Olympics Polar Plunge is almost here! Come join staff from the Sheriff’s Office, the Fraternal Order of Police Lodge 17, the city of Avon, and the Special Olympics for a fun event this SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 17. The Guest MC is our very own Sheriff Soyka! Form a team, jump individually, or just come out to cheer on the plungers. All of this will be happening at the Avon City Beach and there will be shuttles running from the Avon Community Church to the event so no need to worry about finding parking. Simply follow the signs to the parking lots. The weather looks awesome at 35 degrees and it's for a great cause, so come on out and pledge a jumper or get in that water yourself!
