In July of this year, the home I lived in with my family was struck by lightning. It caused a fire which made the building unlivable, and we lost almost everything we owned. Since the fire, life has changed dramatically for the kids and I. It took everything I had in my savings and all of the GoFundMe donations to secure a place to live and replace some of what we lost. We had lived in the same place for 11 1/2 years, so my rent was decent. Now we pay more than twice what we did before, plus are responsible for more utilities. With the cost of everything going up, we just make ends meet each month. In order for me to be able to get my kids something for Christmas, I am hosting a Multi-Winner Waffle!
