The Lunch Bunch. UPDATE TO LUNCH SERVICE
I won’t be offering it this year. As many of you know, I have had digestive issues for some time. After some testing, I found out that my body has a high level of inflammation and my immune system is on high alert (compromised). There are also foods I must avoid, due to intolerance. Waiting on another test result.

Definitely will be taking this year to heal and nurture my body, mind and soul. Appreciate all prayers 🙏🏻 and support.

The Lunch Bunch, I have decided to press pause on lunch deliveries at this time. Time to make my health a priority. In order to do this, I have to modify my diet and lifestyle. The goal is to reduce gut inflammation. I will start with 30 Day Elimination Diet of no gluten, dairy, alcohol, spicy foods and caffeine (+ maybe corn and soy), then slowly reintroduce a food group at a time. This should shed light on my food allergies and intolerances. Yes, definitely going to be challenging for a foodie like myself.

The Buddhist Temple of Dallas, a beautiful sanctuary in North Dallas, just re-introduced its Thai Markets on Sundays filled with street food, desserts, gifts, teas and more! We stopped by and had an amazing culinary and cultural experience!

OMG, I was loving tonight’s meal.👍🏻. Decided to make an Asian Chicken Crunchy Slaw with the leftover food inventory from yesterday’s Lunch Bunch meals. This is so fresh and light. So one of my hobbies is to make homemade pasta. I have made spaghetti, fettuccine and lasagna pasta noodles. Going to once again try my hand at ravioli. On my first attempt the dough was too thick. Will be welcoming you into my kitchen over Spring Break, as I make Three or Four Cheese and Italian Sausage and Cheese Raviolis. 😋.
