I thought I'd share my latest project. Your original photo is turned into a line drawing and then laser engraved on a beautiful basswood bark-edge plank. These will make great wedding or anniversary gifts, or wonderful keepsakes.

Happy Accident at The Dells Barn! The letter D!
Today was another day of sprucing up the barn seats with the trusty Shark Steamer when we stumbled upon something incredible! Hidden beneath layers of grime and dust, we discovered letters etched into the concrete. 🕵️‍♂️🔍

Who knew cleaning and sanitizing could turn into such an exciting adventure? Sometimes, the best surprises come when you least expect them.

The Dells Barn is a place where ♡memories are made and cherished.

☆Just inside the ladies’ dressing room, you’ll discover a pair of delicate metal angel wings, a symbol of grace and beauty. Beneath these wings lies Cindy’s (Dickinson) hymnal, a precious find from our January cleanout, hidden under piles of paper and now lovingly restored.

☆This hymnal, a true treasure, rests on a wooden stand that bears Cindy’s signature, intricately carved into the back. It’s a testament to the personal touches and heartfelt stories that make the Dells Barn so special.

[A special shout-out to ♡♡Rikki Schiller who kindly engraved this piece for us. Look for her custom work inside our barn too.]

☆Every corner of this enchanting venue holds a piece of history, waiting to be discovered and celebrated.
