♡Last night under the glow of the winter moon, I gave a tour of our barn to a bride-to-be who we've known since she was a tiny human. My heart was beating so fast, I thought this might be what a hummingbird feels like.

♡The excitement of sharing our venue and the thought of her marriage happening here was incredibly wonderful. We spent a lot of time talking. I listened to every detail. Her joy is our joy. Picturing a fall wedding here, under the 68 year-old original cedar planks, and all the love stories before her, was immeasurable.

I messaged her Mom after she left, "I made it through the tour without crying." 🤣

The Dells Barn - Music & Events, built in 1957, is so rich in hstory. The last time the stage was used was summer of 2019 to celebrate 40 years of the Wisconsin Opry.

This iconic venue is steeped in history and brimming with charm. For decades, our barn has echoed with the melodies of legendary artists such as Bill Monroe, Faron Young, Kittie Wells, Suzy Bogguss Music, Porter Wagoner, Jim & Jesse, Osborne Brothers, John Hartford, and Riders In The Sky (and so many more) when it was home to the Wisconsin Opry. Let us not forget local legend, Virgil Dickinson. It's a place where music history has been made, and will continue.

Following our recent renovations, after being vacant for a decade, our barn is alive and now more inviting and comfortable than ever. Our 40 foot stage stage is incredible and we have reworked two green room suites to ensure our performers and guests alike have a relaxing and enjoyable experience.

Our goal is to pack our historic barn with people of all ages, creating unforgettable days and nights of music and joy.

We cant wait to open the doors in spring. We hope all of you will be part of our barn family and story.

●You've heard us rave about the barn, but we haven't given much spotlight to our beverage serving center, The Rusty Spigot. It's set to be a fantastic spot to quench your thirst and serve our guests in style.

●Just yesterday, my son and I installed new chains on the flaps to ensure they’re securely fastened. We also stocked the shelves with gorgeous bottles from our favorite neighbors, Broken Bottle Winery. A few more touches are coming.

Fun quote: "Don't stir up the dust if you can't handle the ride."

A Frigid Wisconsin Day! 🥶
❄️Today, we received a custom-made sign, and despite the frigid Wisconsin weather, it warmed our hearts! This beautiful piece was crafted by Robin Bromley, a dear friend for over three decades and one of the most talented people we know.
