In this new camp, we will be creating multiple projects in this camp and texture is the theme! Campers will use special joint compound, canvas, air dry clay, stampers, cutters, natural elements, water color paints and acrylics to create wall art, trinket trays, a planter, and hangars/ornaments. Is your child is too old for traditional camp but too young for a job? Are you looking for a bit of structure to their days but you don't want to stress them out? Would you like your child to come home from camp with a smile and lightness of being? There are still a few spots left in many of our tween and teen summer camps here at Create Studios!

Sign them up for our small group creative crafting summer camps! Our camps are designed for mature tweens and teens, with plenty of instruction and guidance, but a focus on freedom to be creative and independent work. We encourage experimentation, creative risk taking, and the process...and they will also come home with some beautiful and amazing projects!

In every blanket class I say,

“If you want to make another blanket after this workshop and you need help getting started again, just text me and you can come back to the studio and I will help you” (complimentary of course)

Someone finally took me up on it!!!! Nesa wanted to make a blanket for her son who was turning 13 so brought in her yarn and she ended up cranking out the entire blanket before pickup.

STATS:
First time making a blanket in the private workshop-
5 skeins of yarn
3 hours and 45 minutes (about)

Second time around-
7 skeins of yarn
2 hours and 15 minutes

We had the best time! So if you have taken my workshop and you need a little help getting going with a new project, just text me and we will set up a time for you to come in.

Next decoupage glass bottle workshop is this coming Tuesday evening, February 18, at 6:30 pm.

In two hours you will:

Express yourself creatively (no artistic skill is required. We do this with napkins.)
Create something using your hands (this is a basic human need.)
