We are so grateful to those of you who have checked on us, and we are blessed to report that The Gatehouse did not sustain any major damage from Hurricane Ida; we just have a bit of yard cleanup we are working on.

We know we are among the lucky ones, as many of our neighbors and towns southeast of us did not fare so well. We are sending all of our thoughts and prayers to those of you dealing with the unimaginable, and to all of Louisiana in this difficult time.
