We talked yesterday about asking your baker for the diameter of your cake AND the diameter of the base under the cake!

As you can see in these photos that base can extend anywhere from about 1/4" to a full 1" wider than your cake, so it's important to get a stand at LEAST as big as the base.

Another Pro-tip? You can also often ask your baker to cover the base in something that will match your stand!

Wood, porcelain, metal, from glam to rustic to mod!

Ask your baker for the size of your cake AND the size of the cake base underneath. Add 1/2" to 1" diameter to this base measurement to determine the size of cake stand you need!

If you get a cake stand that is the exact diameter of your cake, the cake base will hang off the edges of your cake stand (not cute). 😐

We take great care to ensure your glassware arrives to you safely and sanitized!

We don't require that you wash them before returning, but do request you empty them of remaining liquid/debris like fruit, seeds, etc. before placing back in the racks they arrived in.

We inspect every glass on return for cracks, chips, lipstick stains, or anything else that would prevent it from going out again, some glasses get an extra scrub before going through the sanitization process!

So many options for chargers, dinner, salad, and dessert plates, flatware, napkins... the options to customize your place settings are endless!

Event rentals aren't just for weddings! A local school asked us to bring in some seating areas for a grad night lock-in at a community center! they loved the eclectic mix of vintage and modern pieces which mixed nicely with the community center's existing lobby furniture!

What does a rentals consultation like like? You will visit our studio in Beaverton/Aloha, which we share with @partypoppypdx and @tristar.vinyl . We will have curated a collection of items that you have requested to see and some additional things we think will go with your vibe! We will ask some logistical questions that help determine quantities of items, and talk through the elements of your design. If you have a Pinterest we will pull that up for reference and do our best to facilitate the things you love most from your inspo pics! You are welcome to bring your partner and/or your coordinator with you, and feel free to bring snacks or drinks if you'd like. Our design rate is $45/hour but if you book with us this is not only waived, it is a credit on any rental package totaling over $500!
