A cutting cake and variety of dessert small bites is still the most popular way to serve up something sweet to your guests!

You can still have your cake cutting photo op, and adding a variety of baked goods really gives your guests options for how they'd like to satisfy that sweet tooth!

Bonus: a dessert buffet table is another chance to create a stunning visual!

Cost breakdown on a dessert buffet on an 8' rectangular table:
$25 - 90"x 156" rectangular tablecloth (we carry white, black and beige)
$12 - cutting cake stand (price range $8-$15 in wood, vintage glass, or metal)
$50 - tiered servers and stands, platters, etc. (huge variety of options here)
$12 - three taper candles in holders
$6 - three bud vases
$5 - cake knife & server set (several options from classic to modern to bougie!)
$100 - clear textured glass dessert plates

This dessert buffet will cost around $210 NOT including the cake/desserts.

Where your reception can start to get expensive (aside from catering and beverages) is your guest tables.

Here's an example of the breakdown of table linens, place settings and decor for a headcount of 100 people.

A 60" round table comfortably seats 8 people*, 100 divided by 8 is 12.5, so you will need to plan for 13 tables.

$234: 13 x $18 -108" round tablecloth (black, white or beige)
$260: 13x $20 centerpiece (this price based on wood rounds, hurricanes & pillar LEDs, tea lights in holders, and table numbers)
$75: 100 x $0.75ea charger plate
$150: 100 x $1.50ea vintage china dinner plate
$100: 100 x $1.00ea cotton or cheesecloth napkin
$50: 100 x $0.50ea basic water goblet
$100: 100 x $1.00ea vintage clear or colored glass goblet
$275: 100 x $2.75/set of 3 piece flatware (black or mod gold)

You can customize so many aspects!

Consider special seating for the two of you, maybe fancier chairs, or a loveseat.

You can have a contrasting linen color for your tablecloth as compared to your guest tables!

Add draped linen, lighting, flowers, and backdrops for ALL the drama.

We love this sweetheart table from last year, the couple brought many of their personality pieces to this design and the result was a really fun and dramatic representation of them together, Til Death! 😉

We're going to give you some basic cost breakdowns for the various event areas that may require rental items!

If you're planning to sit at a Sweetheart Table, here are some things to consider when building the design of your sweetheart table area!

$22: 90"x 132" rectangular tablecloth (we carry black, white and beige)
$150: black or emerald green velvet loveseat (just two of many options for sweetheart seating)
$25: grouping of candles or lanterns for on/next to/in front of your table
$12: groupings of bud vases

Building a wedding budget and don't know where to start?

We're going to give you some basic cost breakdowns for the various event areas that may require rental items!

You can welcome your guests to your wedding in many different ways, and not everyone needs a guestbook sign or card box, but the items listed below are commonly rented items for a welcome table!

$22: 90"x 132" rectangular tablecloth for a 6' table (we carry white, black, and beige).
$10: Card box (we have many options!)
$35: FujiFilm Install Mini Camera. We provide the camera and batteries, you provide the film!
$5: cute trash can for film trash, dead batteries, sticky tape trash, etc.
$2: "guestbook" or other misc. signage
$15: grouping of LED taper or pillar candles and holders. Many style/size/price options.
$6: grouping of three bud vases.

Building a wedding budget and don't know where to start?

We're going to give you some basic cost breakdowns for the various event areas that may require rental items!

For your ceremony, if you rent the following items from us (based on a 100 person headcount) you can expect to pay around $900 as a base price.

$500: 100 chairs @ $5ea (we only currently carry our mismatch wood dining chairs)
$150: Double Hex backdrop (we have several options for backdrops!)
$35: White A-Frame Welcome sign w/ floral box (one of many signage options)
$216: 100 people with six people to a row on each side is 8 double rows. If you place lighting at the end of each row at the aisle, this is 16 lighting stations. LED pillars in hurricanes are $4.50ea, so a set of three is $13.50 x 16 = $216.

Total: $901

To get started with your rentals, please visit our website and click on "Request a Rental Quote"!

Include the date of your event, your estimated headcount, location and name of venue, and your wishlist of items!

We will respond within two business days to confirm availability of your requested items and ask some additional follow-up questions!

Once you've decided on your rental items, you'll sign our estimate/contract and pay a retainer fee of anywhere from 25% to 50% of your total rental balance. This secures all the items on your estimate for your date, at the price listed!

You can make additions and changes to your contract anytime prior to your deadline (this date will vary by size of your order - usually two days to two weeks before your event).

We love collaborating with other vendors on styled shoots, open houses, wedding shows, and content days!

Every situation is different, and in many cases we are happy to donate our rentals in exchange for professional photos of our design work and inventory.

Depending on location, depth of setup and amount of product being transported, we may charge mileage and/or setup fees for our time!

Please reach out if you have a project in mind, we are happy to put together a proposal/design mockup if we are available!

We ask our collaborators to sign our rental contract even when rentals are donated, to ensure appropriate care is take of our items and replacement/damage costs are taken care of when relevant!

We like to participate in 2-5 shoots a year and have some openings in August this year to fill out our calendar!

It's not hard to build a centerpiece for your guest tables!

Whether you are using round tables or long rectangular tables, you want to start with a visual anchor for whatever you are putting on the table.

If you are using a rectangular table, consider a runner of some kind to pull the eye to the center of the table. This helps keep your decor from looking too busy or cluttered. You can use a cloth runner or greenery or a floral garland! Anything continuous will act as a visual anchor for the rest of your decor.

If you are using round tables, consider a wood round or charger plate or other round item to build your decor on. This acts as a visual anchor in the same way your runner does on a rectangular table.

Now it's time to add in florals, lighting and table numbers!

Odd numbers and varying heights are the rule to keep things interesting and not blocky - you don't want your guests to feel like there is a wall of stuff between them inhibiting conversation!

You can opt for large floral arrangements or groupings of simple bud vases.

We always recommend lots of lighting both for ambiance and for light as the evening goes on!

When planning for Ceremony decor, start from the front and work your way back!

What do you envision standing in front of? A Triangle or Double Hex with floral swags? A large Square frame with drapery? A Floral Nest with lanterns?

What does the aisle look like? Are you walking on rugs? A runner? Are there candles or bud vases next to the chairs? Ribbons tied to the ends of the rows? Clusters of lanterns or flowers at the beginning and/or end of the aisle?

Where are your guests seated? In folding chairs? On benches or couches? On mismatch wood chairs?

Do you need reserved signs for your front rows? Do you need a "please silence your phone" sign or other informational or directional messaging for your guests?

Is your bartender full-service? Are they bringing a physical bar and all the tools required to serve your full bar menu?

Do you need to supply the ice and/or what it is stored in through the evening?

Don't forget to consider specific glassware for the types of drinks being served!

Another area to shop rentals for is your Welcome Area!

Consider things like signage for the event itself, informational signage for cards & gifts, any guestbook direction, etc.

You will also want to include linens for your welcome/cards & gifts tables in your overall linen count! These linens can be the same color as your reception tables or a contrasting color.

Remember to rent a card box or basket, something to hold pens for the guestbook, and a few pieces of decor and/or lighting to tie in your overall vibe!

Show your guests you love them with added touches like mini-sunscreen, sunglasses, water bottles or throw blankets!

We've added some sections to the Rental Catalog portion of our website to make shopping for your rentals a little easier!

You can now choose items based on the area of your event. By choosing an area you will learn a little about what components you should consider for that area and see specific items and categories of items to choose from!

Today we are talking about your Sweetheart Table.

If you choose to have a Sweetheart Table consider having special seating for just the two of you! This can be a cozy loveseat or two matching accent or dining chairs.

Next consider your place settings! This is a great area to go all out and upgrade to the fancy items, since you're only paying for two of each thing instead of the top shelf item for all of your guests!

Choose from our limited inventory of flutes and place settings geared specifically towards microweddings and sweetheart/head tables!

Last, don't forget decor items for your table. Whether you have a gorgeous farm table or a regular table with a tablecloth, don't skimp on the lighting and florals! We love the look of a cluster of lanterns or taper candles of varying heights, mixed with a floral arrangement or bud vases. These items can be on the table or on the floor in front or to the sides!
