A little under 2 years ago, our daughter’s boyfriend asked her dad if he could propose. The same night he did, our daughter said, “I’m getting married on the farm.” She honestly was thinking we would pitch a tent for the reception, but a barn has been in our long term plan the only issue was we used the old barn we had torn down to move to build our house.
We searched for another barn to move, but couldn’t find one. Early this spring, we found a company that builds gothic style rafters. Jeff design the barn and the week after our May The Sunflower Market at Lambrecht Farm, Bedford, Indiana, we broke ground. The Amish built the basement and then we waited and waited and waited on the rafters. The barn is nowhere near finished, but the bride could have cared less!

We had the best day!
We got married at my favorite place, in my favorite spot, surrounded by our favorite people.
My family really made my visions come to life!
