HAPPY 420!! The Schwag will be performing a FREE EVENT on FRIDAY, APRIL 21 at Ballpark Village St. Louis. It is a 420 CELEBRATION with vendors, glass blowers, face painters, food & beverage, good vibes, and live music. The show runs 6 pm to 10 pm on the outdoor stage next to Busch Stadium downtown. This show was originally scheduled for April 20 but was recently moved to Friday, April 21 due to weather. The event is still happening so come celebrate recreational in Missouri. Slappie's and Nasty Glass and ArtLife Studio will be some of the vendors on the scene.

WINDOW PAINTING CLASS! Located downtown Belleville behind Lincoln Theater at 110North High St, Belleville I have a limited number of old windows for painting on and thought it would be the perfect opportunity for a class! Learn how to paint on windows and make an awesome decorative window just in time for spring! I believe I have 8 windows at this time. Everyone gets to take their window home to keep! Cost is $65 each and will be a 3 hour class! Date is March 15th 6-9. Or I can do any other night of the week with 2 or more people. I can do any art classes any day of the week at this location

This is Amelia, she has been taking a 5 week coarse mixed media private art session. We made this beautiful fairy home decor out of a recycled bottle, foam , wood and peat moss. This project took two sessions in which she learned you can make some cool decor from recycled materials. This turned out amazing and she had fun making something that wasn't planned. We discussed what she would like to learn and we created this from her interests and my experience. When teens create they learn they can do anything! I teach how to upcycle to build projects and how to use tools and everyday objects to create and so much more! Art saved my life as a teenager. It helps with depression and anxiety. Being a teenager is lonely and confusing. All they need is guidance. If a teen is acting out, it's because they don't feel connected or engaged. Showing them new and creative ways to express themselves outside of the school zone can be crucial if they aren't involved in any other activities. I do private and group lessons to help them connect with other kids like them! One good connection can change a whole outlook on life , giving them the light to see the path. Toddlers have so much fun through sensory play at ARTLife workshops! Each class is 2 to 3 hours long , while keeping them engaged with many activities that can include shaving cream marble painting, sponge painting , clay sculpting and much more! Each workshop is unique and helps young kids be able to experience creative freedom in safe, positive spaces. I can do group sessions for home school children, daycare children, private lessons or private parties. Kids being able to learn while getting messy is fun and important to develop creativity in expanding minds. We also talk about controlling emotions and how to release energy through art , music and play. Everyone has a great time!
