ABOUT OUR CLOSING…

Since there seems to be some confusion, let’s clear up the rumor mill.

We are closing because of Scott’s retirement, not because business isn’t good.

As a business, Dill’s does very well, and we are so thankful for that.

We are incredibly grateful for all of you and your support throughout the years, but because of the many factors that have come into play since the pandemic, it’s made retirement even more appealing to Scott, who has been looking in that direction for several years now.

He’s put in over 45 years in this industry, and he’s ready to retire and enjoy life away from the flower shop.

We will miss each of you, but we are so looking forward to some time to enjoy our families, friends, and new adventures.

Today is a bittersweet day.

We are here to confirm the rumors that we are closing our doors at the end of 2022, as we are retiring.

Scott has been in the business for over 45 years and has been looking forward to retirement for some time.

As a small, locally-owned business, the severe inflation of costs and supply chain issues that came as a result of the pandemic has just become too much to keep dealing with.

It’s not that we haven’t been doing well. Because of you, we’ve had many, many successful years—the last 3 included, but everything is difficult.

It is with heartfelt gratitude that we thank you for allowing us to deliver happiness to you and your loved ones for the past 65 years. We will miss you all tremendously!

We are working to make sure we leave you in the very best hands.
Stay tuned for more on that front. 😉

We will be open until 12 PM Fri., December 23rd.

We hope to see you before we close, simply because we consider many of you our friends. No matter what, we wish each of you very well!

We will always cherish the opportunities we received to have helped you say with flowers what words could not.
