I’m so happy with how the string of hearts look on the heart trellis 💕

How to make metal trellises:
🫶 you can use copper wire, metal hangers, or even thick floral wire
🫶 I used a heart frame as a template to create the heart since it was hard for me to make it freehanded
🫶 you’ll need wire cutters - lucky David had some but you can find at any hardware store or even a flea market
🫶 get to trellising by wrapping your plant around the wires!

String of Hearts Care Tips:
🪴 bright indirect light
🪴 let dry out almost fully - leaves will look droopy/bendy and soil is dry
🪴average humidity but will appreciate some extra!
🪴 propagates easily - cut between a node and place into soil/sphagnum moss/water/watering medium you like
🪴 if balding at top lay strands on top of soil and they will root up for you
🪴 I fertilize every watering with a diluted mix but do what you like!
🪴 cut back when too long and will promote branching

Growth update ✨ Hoya Krohniana super silver 🩶

This plant is probably one of the FASTEST and EASIEST Hoya that I’ve come across!

She sorta just sits under the grow light and GROWS!

Some Hoya Krohniana Tips:
🍃 give bright indirect light or place under growlights
🍃 water when soil is dry to the touch-I’ll stick my finger in the soil about 1-2 inches down
🍃 humidity: I’m always hanging out at like 60% humidity here. I’d say 50% plus is ideal but they can handle lower
🍃 don’t move it if it’s starts to throw out peduncles! This is for all Hoya
🍃 throw it on a trellis for fun
