Should an event decorator charge you a fee for an invoice? The answer is YES!!!!
Read all slides for better understanding on why and pay close attention to all slides especially slide 2 and 9.
For most of these decor companies, the fee you pay for an invoice or site visit, goes towards your bill.
For example, if a company charges you $100 for an invoice. After you make payments and an invoice of $900 is sent out to you, that means your balance will be $800 if you choose to retain the company.
Clients should please respect these companies and stop comparing their pricing to others. They have them in place for a reason. If the price doesn’t suit your needs/budget. Find another alternative. Also vendors should be patient with clients. Most of them just need to be educated on these things.
