Join us this Saturday at 10 AM for a watercolor floral class! Send mom out for some creative self-care, make a mommy-daughter date out of it, or just come and paint for fun. Whether you’re a beginner or you’ve been painting for a while, we will have a great time learning watercolor textures, color blending, and how to paint single and bunch florals. Safe to say they’re going to look fantastic for Saturday’s water festival parade! Remember, let those shirts soak overnight, and wash them Friday. To those who wish to walk with us in the parade, meet at Café Bloom at 9:30 am. A big thank you to the Benton Area Volunteers (Illinois) who gave of their time to help at tonight’s tie-dye event. 💙❤️💚💜🧡💛

Thursday, May 4th kick off the first night of the carnival on the square by registering to tie-dye a t-shirt at La Galarie from 6:00-8:30. Then go ride some rides! Our staff will help you create a custom shirt that you can then wear in the Rend Lake Water Festival Parade on Saturday, if you choose to take part. The city has kindly offered to shut down the alley beside La Galarie so we can have a tie-dye party Thursday night. Is there a better way to pay "Tribute to George Harrison"? This art event will only cost $7 because La Galarie is donating the rest. P.S. GIVE US YOUR CHILD'S NAME & SHIRT SIZE IN THE FACEBOOK COMMENTS. 😃Must pre-pay to participate.
