Missouri Lounge Wednesday Night Open Mic

7 to 10 pm Hosted by Paul Pot. Open Mic starts around 7:00 to 7:15. All styles, mostly music. No Cover. 21 & over. No cover, drinks and bbq reasonable.

List goes out at about 7. 1 to 2 songs depending on the amount of people on the list. The Missouri Lounge Wednesday Night Open Mic was named 2014'S BEST OPEN MIC in the East Bay Express's Best in the East Bay Poll. They did not have an award in that category this year. Write the Express and let them know if you want the category back. 2016 is an election year and you should have your say. Until then we choose not to abdicate the throne and must be toppled.

Wednesday is Open Mic Day at The Missouri Lounge where we maintain a tradition of live music that has had a 16+ year run at the Miz . One thing you can count on if nothing else is creativity through musical expression, spoken word , stand up comedy, heartfelt risk taking and mutual support for each other. We want every one to shine on like crazy diamonds and get your groove on at this long running musical experiment where we provide excellent sound support and a very supportive venue provided by the Missouri Lounge. Please come out and support this weekly event which requires only your presence to make it happen!

It's a shame that the checkered history of our country finds itself on a bad square like this once again. It's not the majority who are in favor of this cruel game. It's those who threaten with the power they have taken. Keep objecting. Write. Speak. Demonstrate. The fat guy in the red hat must be checkmated.

BTW, when playing in four dimensions, there is always time to stop by the open mic as well.

Last open mic until I come back in like October or something. Come on down and have some fun. Always a good time. Offering free drinks to all women who come down to sing. Come check it out. See what it is all about. The Out of Town Couple will be keeping the tradition (minus the snoring) going while I am away.

When he said all those things as "The Real Donald Trump" why did people excuse it as, "Oh he just says things," like it's not to be taken seriously? When he calls himself "The Real Donald Trump", well guess what? That's who he is. Don't let Lindsay Graham, Mike Johnson (who is next to Trump in the picture), and others twist the truth and make you not believe your own eyes. Trust what you see and do what you can (like writing your congressperson) to keep these people from blowing the world out their ass.

I know I am mostly speaking to the clear-eyed choir, so enough of my rant.

Did you know that we celebrate Ass Wednesday every year at the Missouri Lounge Open Mic. The Out of Town Couple are holding court for it this week. I wish I could be there, but I will be there on March 12. That's next week.
