2024 City of Camden Holiday Tree Lighting

Hundreds of Camden residents braved the cold to attend the Holiday Tree Lighting. There was plenty to do! Game truck, food trucks, smores, hot chocolate, face painting, amusement rides, and more! Things really got interesting when a certain chubby, jovial, and well-dressed giver of gifts showed up on a fire truck! You guessed it! Santa! Accompanied by the great Mayor Carstarphen, Santa was greeted by smiling children! Once the tree was lit, the party was on! The crowd was treated to live music, and DJ to bring the season in right! As always, the Boothbusters provided free holiday keepsake photos. Happy Holidays!

The Day of the Dead originated in pre-Hispanic times in central Mexico. It is celebrated to honor and welcome the departed. It was an amazing day as the owners of planned and hosted an awesome event! There were fantastic food vendors, crafters, bands, and displays! It was a must attend event! If you missed it, plan to attend next year. You won't regret it!

Parents Invincible hosted their annual Trunk Or Treat! This year, they celebrated an amazing event packed with fun activities, great music, delicious food, lots of Candy, and most importantly, COMMUNITY RESOURCES!!!

Camden-Make A Dog's Day 24

Animal Welfare Association (AWA), the oldest and largest low-cost spay/neuter clinic, adoption center and no-kill animal shelter in South Jersey, in partnership with Subaru of America, Inc., held its annual Camden “Make A Dog’s Day” event on Wednesday, October 23rd at Pyne Poynt Park, in Camden, N.J.

The event, dedicated to making all dogs feel loved and cared for, especially dogs with special needs, was open to the public and attendees (and their pets) Attendees enjoyed dog-themed games including “’Bark’sketball,” Pretzel Table, “Ask the Trainer” sessions, pet tags, as well as a free pet food give-a-way, AWA’s Vets On Wheels free vaccine clinic (rabies and distemper) and free microchipping for both dogs and cats! The were called on to provide free 5x7 pet photos! Fur-real! It was Paw-some!

Giana's Sweet 16

Giana puts the "Sweet" in Sweet Sixteen! One of most kind and polite teens we've had the opportunity to with with! We think she deserves anything she wants, even if it's a car...hint, hint Dad! Guest showed up in red and white and Giana wowed the crowd in a pink gown! She and her guests danced the night away and took plenty of pictures! We hope we made your birthday an awesome one!

Wine Fest 2024

New Jersey’s favorite wine and music festival did not disappoint! Thousands gathered at the Valenzano Winery Festival Grounds to celebrate its 21st year! Wine Fest has become one of the most anticipated and talked about fall events in New Jersey. Each year, this event gets bigger, better, more fun, more comfortable, and more entertaining! More wineries than ever before! 180+ locally produced wines from 14 of New Jersey's favorite wineries. More food trucks than ever before!!! It was an incredible lineup of endless food options from top street vendors from New Jersey & Philadelphia! Can't forget the extended Craft Bazzar with over 60 local crafters, vendors, and unique artists.

Partners from the Community Care Food & Clothing Pantry provided a beer garden for a great cause. Offering tastes from local breweries with 100% of proceeds going to Community Care Food & Clothing Pantry. The Community Care Food and Clothing Pantry is a not-for-profit organization whose mission is to help eliminate hunger in the South Jersey Region. The Community Care Food and Clothing Pantry is the charity of choice of WineFestNJ 2024.

Get Ready Fest 24 Camden

The Malcolm Jenkins Foundation's Get Ready Fest® is a signature community outreach event that addresses critical food insecurity in regions deeply affected by poverty. In cities such as Philadelphia, PA, Columbus, OH, New Orleans, LA, Camden, NJ, and Newark, NJ, where poverty levels are alarmingly high, Households facing food insecurity grapple with the constant uncertainty of how to put food on the table while making difficult decisions about allocating their limited resources to meet basic needs. Despite the rain, Get Ready Fest was a success! Families dodged to raindrops and enjoyed activities, a resource fair, free haircuts and a grocery pop-up! Even the Swoop flew in to the support one of our favorite former Eagles!
Great cause, awesome day! Great Job TMJF, partners, sponsors and volunteers!

Over 250 youth joined professional basketball player and South Jersey native Jason Thompson for a five-day elite basketball camp. It was the perfect opportunity for the young athletes to brush up on their skills before the school basketball season begins.

The camp catered to boys and girls of all skill levels and all ages. Jason worked with the campers every day.
The camp had guest speakers, media coverage from local media outlets, and even a surprise visit from The Masot Franklin . A delicious and nutritious lunch was provided every day by the camp! That's Elite!

The Boyd Photography on hand for the 3rd year to provide each camp participant with a keepsake photo! The staff and volunteers from the camp are always amazing! Thanks for having us back!

National Healthcare Center Week-Rodeo Fest
Yeeeeeee Haw! This celebration was originally planned to take place on Friday but because of the threat of inclement weather it was postponed. Well, we're glad it was, because the weather was beautiful for a Camden style rodeo! There were cowboy hats everywhere! We even had a petting zoo, hay, bandanas cacti! ... ok they were out of balloons but that counts! There was a mechanical bull, bounce houses, games, free food and produce, free haircuts, music and and awesome resouce fair! The Boothbusters provided free Virtual Rodeo photos for attendees to take home to remember the awesome day! Hats off! ...Cowboy hats that is, to the amazing staff of Osborn! Well, gotta go, a bull is coming!

National Night Out 2024

A little rain storm couldn't stop the residents and local businesses from coming out for Cherry Hill's National Night Out Celebration. Plenty of food vendors were on hand to give out delicious meals and treats! The DJ kept the party going with energetic selections that had people moving! There was even a bike raffle! As always, the Boothbusters provided free souvenir photos for the families in attendance.

National Night Out enhances the relationship between neighbors and law enforcement while bringing back a true sense of community. Furthermore, it provides a great opportunity to bring police and neighbors together under positive circumstances.

The Milton and Betty Katz JCC 9th Annual Jackie & Hank Herskowitz Sports Night with keynote speaker Fletcher Cox on Thursday night was amazing! , a former Philadelphia Eagles defensive tackle, was a dominant force on the Eagles’ defensive line from 2012 to 2024 and is known for his remarkable athleticism, strength and football IQ.

With numerous accolades, including being named to the 2010’s All-Decade Team, six Pro Bowls from 2015 to 2020, and a Super Bowl LII title, Cox cemented his status as one of the NFL’s most dominant forces. His impressive statistics, versatile skill set, and ability to disrupt opposing offenses made him an invaluable asset for the Eagles.
