And the training continues! We had a day off in between fairs and decided to get a group of the staff First Aid, CPR and AED certified as well. Our goal is to have 100% certification among our staff to maximize our coverage.

It makes us very sad to hear this happened. This is why we we work so hard at safe bounce house play and teach our clients on when it is safe and not safe for bounce house use. Please remember that 20mph is the maximum wind for any inflatable when staked appropriately. There is never an excuse for inflatables not being staked or anchored. Some inflatables are rated for lower wind speeds, especially residential style bounce houses. It is everyone’s responsibility to make sure kids are supervised when playing in a bounce house. According to the Mayo Clinic, bounce houses must be securely attached to the ground and avoided when high winds or storms are present.
