✨Tonight's Activity: The Grateful Jar! ✨
This Kids Night, we’re focusing on the things that make us happy and thankful! Each child will decorate their own Grateful Jar and fill it with thoughtful notes about what they’re grateful for! Whether it’s family, friends, favorite foods, or fun memories — no gratitude is too small to share!
🎉 How Our Thankful Jar Works:
Decorate Your Tag & Write Your Gratitude:
Start by decorating a tag for your jar, then write down something you’re grateful for on a slip of paper. Put it inside your jar — it could be big or small, simple or profound. 🌈💌
Add a Thankful Thought Each Day:
Throughout the month, add a new thankful thought to your jar every day. The more you fill it, the more you’ll appreciate all the little blessings in your life! 🌟
Thanksgiving Share Time:
On Thanksgiving Day, before or after dinner, gather with your family and take out each slip of paper. Read them aloud and share all the blessings you’ve experienced this month. It’s a beautiful way to reflect on the good things in life! 🍂🦃
Make a Grateful Paper Chain:
Once your blessings have been read, turn them into a festive paper chain and hang them on your Christmas tree! Each day, keep adding new notes of gratitude — a perfect way to celebrate the season of thanks! 🎄💫
👨👩👧👦 Parents, Join the Fun!
We encourage parents to help their little ones write down their thankful thoughts and remind them to add it to their jar each day. You can even start your own Grateful Jar as a family tradition!
