This holiday season, and forever forward, we are considering new ways to make our meals locally for the “One Another” that is us–the Spicy People of Earth. The food conglomerates have us stacked into little piles of “Otherness” separated by stacks of wealth, ideas, and bad food. We’re not gonna take it anymore.

We’re trying to find a way to circumvent the grocery store to make affordable meals for our community with more local and organic ingredients, sourced directly from farms like my employer, Stranger's Hill Organics. As the farm manager at Stranger's Hill Organic in Bloomington, we've just harvested a bountiful crop of delicious, bright orange butternut squash.
