On this day 12 years ago, Paramore released their fourth, and self titled, studio album through the iconic Fueled by Ramen label. The album hit #1 on the US Billboard 200, Top Rock Albums, and Top Alternative Albums charts, as well as on several international charts.

Fun Fact Friday! Did you know that the original back cover to Green Day's legendary Dookie album featured a picture of a plush-toy version of Sesame Street’s Ernie, but the image was later removed due to fear both of inciting a possible lawsuit from the show and sparking confusion over whether or not the album was for children?

After 2 ½ years of live performances inside our historic theater, we’ve decided that It’s time to take the party outside. It’s time to get WARPED!

On Saturday, June 7, the ultimate celebration of pop/punk and emo music will set up in the parking lot behind our theater. Blue Island Gets Warped will feature the top local and regional tribute and cover bands from the Chicago area and beyond – under the sun and stars. This all ages festival is the first of its kind in the theater’s 108-year history. Follow our page for more information.
