Well, I’ve been avoiding this announcement in hopes that I would be able to push through it. However, I am done for this season with flowers due to a shoulder injury . I’m so sorry.
In better news, I ordered tulip bulbs for the spring last week so yay for that !! Thank you to all my customers, I’ll be back 👍🏻

This picture was taken last summer, and I’ll be really honest here, it feels strange not to be gathering arm loads of flowers right about now. I wanted to take a minute and explain why we are delaying our season. Our business model is a little different from most flower farms. We don’t do roadside stands, farmers markets, subscriptions or weddings. I’ve known from almost day one that I wanted a you-pick farm. My heart is so very happy when you folks are visiting us! Let’s be real here though - Alabama summers are BRUTAL, and last year we had people picking flowers in extreme heat. I just don’t feel good about that, so we’ve decided to plant for a September/October season - heavy on sunflowers, zinnias, dahlias, and a few more of our favorites. It’s a gamble. It’s unbearably hot and dry. We both work demanding full time jobs and live an hour from the farm. This is hard work, but no, we haven’t stopped farming. We’re crossing our fingers that everything we’ve planted will grow and that we will see your smiling faces when the weather cools off! We appreciate you more than you know!

Hey! If you don’t know me , my name is Deidra and these are my goofy kids. My husband is in the profile pic 😁

I have had alot of questions about how to get flowers so here is quick explanation. My first year flower farming I did all the things that I could think of . Now we only do the self serve Roadside Stand, because I love Simple.

We have tulips in the spring and summer blooms from June until the good Lord allows. (Storms or frost, which ever gets them first) when the flowers are blooming my goal is to have them out 2-3 days a week, usually Tuesday, Thursday , and Saturday weather permitting.

I will post when I set them out On the stand. Some days they are gone fast and others last till the evening. I will be glad to put you one in my cooler on the backporch for pickup if you need one on different day as long as you give me a day in advance. My flowers are fresh, I cut the evening before they go on the stand.

I love growing flowers , thank y’all for supporting me 😘
