The final nail in the coffin is the price going up to rent the land for the event. With that being said, I'm not going to attempt a Boone in Blossom this year and if I was a betting man, I would say that the Blossom days are done and gone. I could go into all the things that aren't lining up the way they used to, but I'd rather say that' I'm grateful for times we have had, the things I've learned, and the food we've raised for the community. If anything magically changes I will let you know, but it's looks like my efforts will be better served in other ventures. I pour my heart into this event every year and although it is so much work, I will definitely miss it and all the joy it would bring to some fine folks!

I'm stoked about this show tomorrow because we haven't played many bar gigs this year and this is a fun change. Also, Kathryn Santiago wrote a bangin melody and words to an original of mine that made it better than what I could have done myself and I am very excited to share that single called "Midnight Hour" as well as this whole show. Mark your calendars!! June 1-4, 2023, we will be bringing you the 10th Boone in Blossom community outreach music & skills festival at Skye Farm tucked atop a mountain high on the backside of Beech Mountain. As always, we will have many local bands, yoga and skills classes, food drive for tickets, community service opportunities, live artists, kids activities, and just a fine demonstration of community. Looking forward to seeing everyone! Thank you!
