Our 18 foot art deco bar was reclaimed from an inn down in Southern Maine. We think it fits in perfectly in this room, so cozy and ready for an evening of clinking glasses!

We believe in quality events. Because we highly recommend and believe it is best for our clients to utilize a wedding coordinator, we are now including a Day of Coordinator in our venue rental (a $1,500 value!). This does not include pre-planning and you may still hire a wedding planner for your special day. This will ensure your day goes smoothly so you can focus on enjoying your day and not worrying about details 📝

John and Sara Berkeley acquired The Boothbay Playhouse in September of 2020 while in search of the perfect venue for their own wedding. They wanted to be married in the Midcoast Maine area and knew just what they were looking for in a venue but couldn’t seem to find it. When they happened across the Playhouse they fell in love with the building and had finally found their perfect venue.

Not only did the first chapter of their lives together as The Berkeley’s begin, but so did the next chapter in the story of The Boothbay Playhouse 💙
