I've loved all kinds of music and dancing for as long as I can remember, so when I was given the opportunity to learn how to be a wedding DJ, I excitedly accepted! Cut to over 10 years and many gigs later, I've finally taken the plunge and have ventured out on my own! I consider myself to be fun and easy to work with, as well as professional and proficient. I have worked with and for several profe
ssional DJ's, which has provided a unique perspective that has allowed me to learn what works and what does not. My love for music started when I was a child, and as a young adult, I have been surrounded by musicians, singers, producers, and more; I believe music is woven into the fibers of my soul, in addition to this: I also LOVE weddings. I understand how important your day is, and it is an honor to be trusted with such a big responsibility, and my pleasure to help make it all the more special. I prefer to do the job professionally and I am ALL ABOUT making sure your guests have fun, but make no mistake: your day is YOURS. I am happy to make necessary announcements, and I can certainly read a crowd, and with a vast knowledge of music, I guarantee to give 100% to ensure everyone has a great time! Price amounts may vary depending on the size of your crowd and the location, starting with a base price for 4 hours, and an additional hourly rate for staying later. A deposit will be required to secure a date.

Laura & Juan’s intimate wedding was not only beautiful, but it was fun, and full of surprises. What an honor it was to be a part of such a perfect blend of cultures! The event was in Trenton, but the music, the food and drinks, and the party was a perfect combination of Mexican, American, and even Celtic traditions that made for one of the most memorable and fun experiences I’ve had as a DJ! ¡Felicidades!

Finally getting to posting some of the pictures I took from gigs I had over the summer.
In June I had the pleasure of DJing Hannah and Andy’s wedding and although I didn’t get a lot of pictures, trust me when I say, the dance floor was FULL for most of the night! And the song requests from everyone of all ages were 100% DJ Approved ✔️!

Happy Friday! Quick update: if you are waiting on info from me, please know that I haven’t forgotten about you!! I have been working a lot for my other (full time) job, and I’ve also been working on adding to and organizing my music library, taking inventory of my equipment and looking into ways to improve my business, and doing all of that in addition to preparing for an upcoming gig!
I have two separate forms that I send to potential clients, one of which is fine, and ready, but the other needs updating and I just haven’t had a chance to sit down and perfect it, and I really don’t want to put anything out there that isn’t top notch. Lastly, I’ve been asked a few times about business cards, so that is also on my agenda. I am getting there and I want to say thank you to everyone who has been so supportive! 🤘🏼

Halloween party in Portland last night for a fundraising event for Simple Gifts (Portland, Maine). I was so happy to learn about their organization, and to meet the people who make this magic happen! These people are REAL heroes. Check out their page if you have a chance; I plan to donate to this charity in the future. It was a small crowd with BIG personalities! Saw some great costumes, and had so much fun!!

Last minute gig for a Halloween party, costumes optional? Um, yes please!
I’ve literally been adding to this for about 4 years. I play it in the car when we’re driving between neighborhoods for trick or treating. It’s wild, and songs are all over the place… I’m talking: Powerman 5000, Little Shop of Horrors soundtrack, Dua Lipa… 🤔

A true legend. I remember walking into the Ernest Tubb Record Shop and when I approached the back of the store to where the shrine to Loretta Lynn was located, I was overcome with emotion and I cried. I grew up in a family of country and bluegrass lovers - my grandfather and uncles played guitar and banjo and my earliest memories are set to a soundtrack of Ricky Scaggs, Flatt & Scruggs, Dolly Parton, Tammy Wynette, Patsy Cline, Kitty Wells, Loretta Lynn, Willie Nelson, Hank Williams, Johnny Cash… and weekly episodes of Hee Haw. This music, which can be traced as far back as Woody Guthrie, is woven into the fibers of America and has influenced some of the most popular artists of many different genres even today. I’m thankful for her legacy.
Lynn's family said she died Tuesday at her home in Tennessee. She was 90.

Headed to South Portland in the morning for a very interesting gig. The bride and groom have adamantly stated “NO RAP”. Hey - they’re the clients, and it’s absolutely do-able, but I’ve never seen a crowd that didn’t *eventually* (after a few drinks) want to get “down and dirty” 😂. I guess we’ll see how it goes! 🤷🏼♀️♥️
