A descendant of a long line of cooks for Portuguese royalty, Amael discovered his entrepreneurial knack for cooking at age seven, preparing meals for his family of eight. Fast forward a few years to his Eagle Scout project: Amael single-handedly prepared Thanksgiving dinner for his church community of 300 hungry people. Since 2014, Amael has been catering events part-time --- ranging from 40-person casual programs, to 60-person festive holiday parties, and even 100-person formal receptions.
