One thing you will NOT find at Copper Winds are pesty little mosquitoes / bugs ! & it’s all thanks to these guys.

I completely forgot to schedule them to come before this wedding weekend. I walked out to Copper Winds Tuesday night & was eaten alive in seconds. I texted them & they promised me they would have it done by wedding weekend! Even with the rain yesterday taking out an entire day , they woke up extra early to do our yard this morning.
Great business & even better owners!

During one of the last storms our HUGE arbor blew out of the tree. (the safety cable did not even break, it was like we lifted it up & out).
BUT we can’t decide to put it back up or build a smaller one (for easier decorating).

My grandma’s name is Rosie.
Roses are her absolute favorite, on our grounds we have over 100 planted!
Grandma Rosie is almost 85 & she gets out every once in awhile to prune the roses! The bushes around her house are the biggest I’ve ever seen!

Tonight we had dinner out at the Silo Bar, talking about future events. As we were talking we noticed something swimming across the pond.
Turns out, it was a baby dear! We have never seen anything like that before! She swam all the way across!

The storms we had this past week did some real damage to Copper Winds .
We are still very fortunate to only have tree damage, possibly a few hedges to replace & one light.
Our gazebo also decided it wanted to take a float around the pond ! 😉
We have a lot of work to do - big bonfire coming soon ! 😉

Shout out to all our friends & family who came over to check on our place as we were out of town for vacation during the storm.
