Still glowing about the Women’s Wellness Advance that took place at the Brighton Light House last Friday💫
55 Women gathered for a day of physical, mental and spiritual wellness lead by a dream team of practitioners, therapists and overall amazing women.
Reed & Co was proud to help enhance the experience by making attendees feel extra special throughout the day.
Our 8x12 ft floral backdrop was the ideal place to take pictures and our vintage bamboo lounge set was perfect for when ladies needed to take a moment to relax and reflect.
Of course our favorite part of the day was setting up the garden lunch in the backyard (those flowers!)🌸🌷🌺 and surprising the women later when we disassembled the floral arrangements to make a bloom bar so everyone was able to take a bouquet home at the end of the day!💐
Reed & Co loves turning events into experiences and giving those “wow” moments…pretty sure we achieved that with this one💕
Was an honor to be on the committee and offer decor services for the 2nd year to Livingston County Habitat for Humanity & Restore ‘s Arise and Shine: Women’s Empowerment Brunch✨ Over 100 women gathered to hear phenomenal motivational speakers, enjoy a delicious brunch provided by Whisk and Ivy, and of course do a little socializing. We were excited to bring some sparkle to the event by providing the stage backdrop, buffet table decor and serveware, and our popular sparkling juice and infused water concoctions🍓🍃🍋
Working with non-profits throughout the year is so important for Reed & Co. We love opportunities to give back to this beautiful community we are blessed to call home💕
While taking a few days to recharge, I had a moment to reflect on my meetings this past week. From a disco themed 15 year old birthday party, to a swanky mixology/tasting cocktail party, to graduation parties, a celebration of life, a women's empowerment brunch for a non-profit, a yoga event for another non-profit, to even the initial stages of planning for a Christmas artisan's market (think German Christmas market vibes). I am so blessed and honored to be able to work and help plan with all these amazing individuals and I LOVE that my job is unique and provides such different opportunities each day💕

Had so much fun putting together this holiday cookie exchange/brunch with Stroll: Hidden Lake!! Reed & Co provided our full service option for this event by bringing all the decor and serve-ware, providing complete set-up, tending to needs of the party (such as arranging cookies and bussing tables), and providing complete clean-up after event (down to the last dirty dish and final bag of trash).
Girly, fun & festive was our inspiration for decor so we used hot pink linens, large swags of silver garland, pink poinsettias and disco balls (obviously).
From the first glass of pomegranate mimosa to the final box of homemade cookies, this fun & festive party was a splendid success!!🥂✨
Loved being a part of the Brighton Light House fall member dinner this week!🍂🌾 Members started the evening with an outdoor fire-lit cocktail hour with the fabulous Miranda from Cloud Nine Bartending, LLC mixing up creative fall drinks, and a beautiful grazing table by the amazing chef Allie Lyttle from Lala's Too . Guests then moved into the carriage house for a candlelit fall inspired dinner that Allie deliciously prepared. We loved making this large open space feel very warm and intimate by using plenty of neutral colors (with a pop of burgundy and gold), large fluffy pampas grasses, soft fabrics and of course plenty of candlelight. The evening wrapped up with the carriage doors opening to a surprise reveal of a fire-lit caramel apple and warm apple crisp bar…yum! Reed & Co LOVES putting together these type of intimate events and hope you keep us in mind as the year wraps up and holiday parties start ramping up🥂
Had the absolute pleasure of helping plan and decorate this AMAZING 50th birthday party a couple weeks ago! Guests, dressed in vintage golf wear, were welcomed to Tony and Amy’s gorgeous home with our champagne wall and custom sign asking them to grab a glass and join the party in the back!🥂🍾 There, they were greeted by one of the most incredible “backyards” we have seen, which made it very easy to sprinkle a little Reed & Co magic✨✨ We brought in our whiskey barrel bar (adorned with our favorite cowhide) which was used as a second bar for wine and beer. The main bar was inside their beautiful walkout basement which didn’t need any decorating except a few extra candles and a signature drink menu. I hear the “T-Bone Tipple” was delicious😉🍸 Back outside we set up our vintage bamboo lounge set with chrome tables for a little added seating, dressed up the cocktail tables, sprinkled a lot of luminaries and lanterns around and even had clear and white LED beach balls floating in the pool for that special evening glow💫 We LOVE the fact that the Robinson’s love pictures and wanted them everywhere for friends and family to enjoy and reminisce💕 Lastly, we cannot say enough about the phenomenal catering provided by Lala's Too ! Allie and her team provided a gorgeous grazing table, DIY ice cream cookie sandwich bar, and we hear some pretty amazing sliders and fries😋 Thank you, Amy and Tony for letting us be a part of your fabulous evening!💖
Had the honor of helping plan and decorate another Heartmonic Holdings event last week at their 2 day grand opening of All Heart Garage! It was SO much fun planning this 1950’s drive-in diner/dream cruise theme!! The private preview night the first day wouldn’t have been complete without classic cocktails (think dirty Shirley) from Cloud Nine Bartending, LLC, delicious food from Whisk and Ivy and Sweet Conclusions, and special entertainment from the Sharp Attack Quartet🥰 The second day’s open to the public ribbon cutting kept the fun rolling with sock hop roller skaters, more classic cars, on point tunes from Bash Entertainment, juicy burgers from The Burger Spot and the creamiest homemade hand-dipped ice cream from Meltdown Creamery! Couldn’t have asked for a more perfect event opportunity with the most perfect clients🤍
Life update! Guess it’s been a minute since I’ve posted anything😬 I’ve never been much of a “picture taker”, I guess because I’m so wrapped up in the moment that I forget to take any. So to remember to take pictures AND post them on social media is definitely one of my biggest challenges. Luckily, my business runs primarily on referrals, which I am extremely humbled and grateful for💕 On that note, it’s been a busy summer of rentals and events for Reed & Co! From various parties/showers, to a street fair, subdivision carnival, 2-day grand opening (post coming soon) and of course a wedding or two, we have definitely not been bored. Mix that with a personal life of my son’s graduation from high school, becoming an empty nester and dealing with some medical issues in our extended family, and I can confidently say I am SO over summer and ready to embrace the fall season and all the fun events we have booked🍁🌾(and hopefully, I can remember to take some pictures;)

Client was wanting a cozy yet elegant feel, so we created a comfy lounge area for a cocktail hour and a tablescape sprinkled with fresh greenery, accents of gold and of course plenty of candlelight🕯We think it turned out perfect😊 Of course could not have been a dinner party without fabulous food provided by Enzo's Catering and beautiful festive cocktails provided by Cloud Nine Bartending, LLC. Such a fun night!

Celebrating the end of the first week of school by highlighting the 4 graduation parties we had the honor to help plan and decorate this summer!!🎓🌟 Wood slices, burlap, Ball jars and our customizable white display shelving seemed to be a popular choice! All 4 parties also made use of our linens and serve ware (chafing dishes, drink dispensers, ice tubs, etc).
Parents of current seniors…It’s not too early to start thinking about next year’s grad parties!😊😢 Reed & Co is already booking dates for summer 2022!
