I had the absolute honor of being a part of a make-a-wish for a little girls celebration of life party. I was asked if I could make chocolate covered treats for the Sesame Street theme - and I just have never felt so grateful in my life. Grateful to have my families health, to be in a position where I can be a part of something so incredible, and to have met so many incredible people who have made it their lives work to help others. Sharing this to show that ANYONE can be a part of the Make A Wish foundation, and there are so many kids who are on a waitlist to have their wishes granted. It is so easy to get involved, and it’s just such a beautiful cause. Feel free to reach out if you are interested and don’t know where to start. Thank you all!

Cake, cupcakes, and cake pops for a little rodeo 🤠 hand sculpted cow topper, 48 individual fondant ears for the cake pops had me feeling like an artist again! These were SO cute, I’m particularly obsessed with the sheep 🐑

Autumnal sugar cookies for an 85th birthday! All the flowers are royal icing, hand painted with edible paint. I love this new technique! It’s so much like watercolor painting which was one of my favorite classes in college. So fun!

A “naked” gluten free strawberry shortcake with vanilla whipped cream and fresh berries. This is a classic for a reason! And if I do say so myself, the gluten free is no different (no less moist, soft or tasty) and it fooled everyone!

Steak anyone? This was the most fun I’ve had so far as a baker! My background is in art and this is definitely an art! The “cutting board” and “steak” are each three layers of marbled cake with vanilla buttercream, and fondant tomatoes. I LOVE what I do!!

This was a real treat for me! One of my all time favorite movies and a bonus challenge: wife and husband don’t agree on the flavor! So.. half blackberry half chocolate coraline cake. 🎂

It’s the most beautiful day ever, up early doing what I love with the family! Today we have our wedding worthy cinnamon doughnuts, cinnamon twists, dog treats, and cakes!

This weekend at the Stand

It’s Friday night which means it’s time to share what’s hitting the stand Saturday and Sunday this weekend! Our loaf cakes sold out last week so we made sure to make some extra, and drop new flavors! Pistachio white chocolate bark, blackberry lemonade, strawberry shortcake, chocolate Oreo, s’mores! Our whipped frosting is light, fluffy and delicious- no one likes that heavy granulated frosting! We will have all our familiar favorites, doughnuts, giant cinnamon twists, doggy treats and more. We accept cash and mobile pay - and feel free to message me at Catering with My Hart to hold an order- so there’s no need to panic!
