We are just starting to process our fall cattle and have beef liver and heart for those of you who love it, or for those of you who may feed your pets a natural diet. Farmer Dave dehydrates liver to make snacks for his two labs!

We also have a lot of organic, grass fed beef bones for those of you who want to
make beef bone broth or give your dogs a special treat.

We also have grass fed beef packages. Let us know your budget and we can customize something for you.

Most common are 100, 200, and 500 dollar packages, and quarters and sides.

Hit us with a message if we can help!

Disclaimer: None of the cow calf pairs in this picture were sent to the freezer farm! :)

Moving the cattle on this beautiful late summer day.

Drought is affecting my grazing areas at the farm, so we bounce them around a lot to give the pastures a chance to regenerate.

Change is usually a healthy thing for the herd, for the pastures, and for us.

Changing things up may not be comfortable always, but its important for our mental and spiritual health.

The more you experience change, the more accustomed you become to it, and the more you look forward to your next adventure.

As you can tell by the herd, they love to travel and experience greener pastures.

I do to.

Creation of a glades pasture at the farm.

Am important way for us to balance our need for more pasture with scattered areas of natural sections of forest.

The pasture feeds our hungry herd; and the forest sections not only create areas for the cattle to rest out of the sun, but also provide great habitat for most of the native critters.

Know what you’re buying. This picture has store beef(right), and farm beef(left). There is an obvious visible difference between the two but the differences don’t stop there!

1. You may notice the color difference in the picture. The store bought is pumped full of additives and preservatives, including propyl gallate, to protect against spoilage due to long term air exposure.

2. There isn’t a guarantee of where that beef came from, OR how many cows are in it.

Yes, it may have the USDA label on it but as long as that animal was packaged in the US, it can be called a Product of the USA.

And yes, the meat in the right package is not from one single cow, rather scraps from multiple cows. It may have come from Argentina, Canada, or Brazil.

3. The beef on the left is fresher, darker and is farm raised beef. It is filled with more nutrients & flavor. The ground is also from one cow and not just low quality scraps from multiple cows.
