Our role as concierge meteorologists started in October 2022, when asked us to help create a sun and shade study for Madeleine Gerrick and J Winkelried’s Wedding in February 2023 based on the venue’s location, the topography of the beach, and the height of the local trees.

After creating our report, we continued to track severe weather and even tropical storms as they worked their way up the east coast of Florida months before the event and notified Marcy’s team of possible beach erosion or weather-related damage that each storm could have brought.

Starting 19 days before the wedding, we began forecasting, tracking, and alerting the team onsite of the daily weather patterns to help create a safe outdoor working environment for all of the people on the ground, transforming a beach into a dream wedding venue.

On the wedding day itself, we remotely tracked multiple weather patterns across Florida and stayed in constant communication with Marcy and her team as they created magic for Madeleine and J on-site

I can’t express how amazing it was to have Marcy and her team push us out of our normal “comfort level” and use for all aspects of the event process….from planning, to the load-in, the welcome party, the ceremony, the reception, and the load-out.

I am so excited to share these photos and the process with all of you!

My grandfather was a true innovator and inventor. As a kid, I said I wanted to be like him when I grew up (As most kids do).

He gave me simple advice….“Inventing something is easy. Just look around and see what isn’t there, then make that.”

It took me almost 20 years in the event industry, focusing on weather & safety and a passing rain shower at my friend’s outdoor wedding, to finally figure out what was missing in the wedding industry… a concierge wedding meteorology service.

I could have never imagined how quickly Ironic would grow and how successful it would be when brainstorming ideas in the midst of 2020…Being nominated for Ones to Watch still feels like a shock.

It would not have been possible without our amazing clients ( who nominated us for this honor) all of my friends in and out of the wedding industry, our investors who made it possible for Ironic to get off the ground in the early days, my business partners Alex Levin and Jack Sillin, all our friends at the , and most importantly my family!

At Lynden Lane, the drive to make your event or home something accessibly decadent keeps us up at night. Effortless perfection means every piece of the design experience unfolds like it was made only for you.

Creating an event on the iconic Coachella polo fields was invigorating and challenging. Making grand design lose its extravagance and instead feel curated and rested, results from an intentional understanding of the space, the light, the needs of the moment, and the complicated simplicity of it all.
