Lots of activity at the farm today. Part of the barn kit arrived and was unloaded and calf # 5 of the spring was born (and we were lucky enough to catch it on video)

We have had a difficult 24 hours on the farm but with a happy ending. First we had a bull calf that wasn’t nursing, but after a bottle of colostrum and then being shut up with his mama in a pen overnight (and some syrup on his back to get her to lick him) he is finally nursing well. Then we had another new calf go missing for 24 hours. It was a very stressful 24 hours but mother and calf were finally reunited!!
