I got to travel back to Ithaca for this session and ughh it was tugging on my heart♥️

this family was regulars at the coffee shop I was working at and trusted me with their family photos when I was only first starting and here we are now, another session and another baby on the way!!! 🥹

I spent the last few days tearing up every time I think about what happened this past weekend 🥹

On Friday, I went to with a couple friends! When I went up to order, the girl cashing us out, looks at me and goes
•
“Oh my gosh! You’re a photographer”
And I was like… um yeah! I am!!
She said
“I follow your account! Your work is amazing! I love it”
•
I was like a little kid on Christmas!! We walked away and I told my friends! I started tearing up because that made my whole day, nah my whole MONTH!!! I was sooo giddy!
•
I felt like I finally made it! That I was famous or something!!! It made me feel so cool and seen!!! I felt like all of these hours and hard work and tears I’ve put into this business is paying off!!!
•
Screw follower count! I’d take this any day!
•

📸Recently, I’ve been challenging myself to crop in, step back, add detail shots or instead of getting rid of a bad photo/duplicate of a good photo to crop it and make it usable!!!

It’s been really fun to see the extra story telling element it brings to albums and it’s been forcing me to get more creative!!!!
