As you can imagine, Halloween is a busy time for a Ghostbuster. I haven't had a second to report on the events that kept me busy, but here are a few of them (left and going clockwise):
- The Grand Warner Theatre in San Pedro's GHOSTBUSTERS screening with Stay-Puft high atop the roof!
- Bret Harte Elementary's Halloween Hullabaloo, featuring the Generation DCD flashmob!
- And another GHOSTBUSTERS screening at Stagg Elementary with Stay Puft getting a little too close....

Here's something I didn't expect. Normally, Halloween is a busy time for the ol' ECTO-1 with parties and movie screenings, but the car, costumes and proton packs got pulled into a video shoot last week! Not just that, but a video shoot at an impressive mansion in La Cañada, CA. Can't wait to see the finished product!

Some sights from last weekend's Burbank Family Pride in the Park! The event was a big hit (although I apologize for obliterating Baymax in front of the kids. I mean, he LOOKS like a ghost!). Look for the ECTO-1 out and about as our busiest month arrives on Sunday!

After a recent party appearance for the ol' ECTO-1 in Los Feliz, that was just too close to John Marshall High School not to grab this pic. Probably the most filmed high school in the country - A NIGHTMARE ON ELM ST., PRETTY IN PINK, BACHELOR PARTY, CAN'T HARDLY WAIT and more, including the carnival sequence from GREASE on the football field.

Happy birthday to our ECTO-1! This 1993 Cadillac is still getting it done at 30 YEARS OLD. The theory about Cadillacs is that you can pretty much weld the hood shut and drive 'em for three hundred miles. Our ECTO-1 was asked to a party yesterday and drove down AND up that hill behind the car in this pic. So, does it still have muscle? I'll call that a big yes.

Tomorrow is my first Ghostbuster party for 2023 and it reminded me that I never shared what is probably my first PRESS for all the nonsense I do! It's from August, but you can see all about the Harbor City National Night Out. There's a pic of "Paul Preston, dressed as a Ghostbuster". How dare you, journalist? It should read, "Paul Preston - Ghostbuster".

Neighborhoods in Long Beach, the Harbor Area and elsewhere in the South Bay joined communities across the state and the country in celebrating National Night Out of Tuesday evening, Aug. 2.

Would the holidays be busy? Would ghosts need busting? Turns out, yes (also, birthdays never stop happening), so the ECTO-1 was out in Pasadena recently and helped celebrate a kid turning five. But points go out to the kid's DAD who had his everyday SUV Ghostbuster-ed up!
