We were honored by the invitation to cater the Bright Party Rentals Showcase. It was a delight to explore their stunning new collections from around the world. Our contributions to the event were equally exciting: a farro verde salad, marinated grilled chicken lollipops, NorCal prosciutto and cheese cones and a passionfruit pâte de fruit. A truly unforgettable event!
Excited to celebrate the grand opening of the new Harvey Milk Terminal at San Francisco International Airport, perfectly timed with Pride Month! As a trailblazer and the first openly LGBT official elected in the United States, Harvey Milk's legacy continues to inspire and shape San Francisco's vibrant history. To commemorate this milestone, we presented several scrumptious rainbow macaron towers in his honor. 🌈✈️
Once again, we were honored to be part of the team with Meals on Wheels San Francisco helping raise $3.75 million at the 36th Annual Star Chefs & Vintners Gala. This will make a real difference in the lives of older adults in the Bay Area, providing for more than 750,000 meals. Thank you to the chefs, vintners and sommeliers from over 70 restaurants and 60 wineries who helped make this magical night such a success. Our chef Vanessa presented this little lavender Spring eggnog moment at the end of the night, closing an extraordinary night!
We just got the photos back from the incredible Dream Lab Showcase hosted in February by the Exploratorium and we extend our heartfelt thanks to our dedicated staff for their hard work and commitment in making the event a huge success. We're grateful for the opportunity to have been among such talented vendors and entertainers. Our cloud-like presentation of the Mushroom Tom Ka Parfait perfectly encapsulated the theme for our gallery: Interpolation / Abstract Dreams. This "Honey Dream" cocktail truly embodied the essence of the couple's celebration at a recent wedding reception. A rich bourbon was paired with herbal Yellow Chartreuse and contrasted with a zesty kick of lemon. Honey and Banyuls, a French wine appellation, added a perfect touch of sweetness.

Get relief from the heat this Fourth of July with Beverage Director @boozephreaks Patriotic Sparkler. It's a great drink to share, and makes a tasty non-alcoholic beverage without the rum too! PATRIOTIC SPARKLER 1½ oz white or spiced rum 1½ oz pomegranate juice 1½ oz coconut water ¾ oz lime juice ½ oz simple syrup Shake with ice. Then add 1 oz sparkling water. Pour into a highball and garnish with a blue patriotic umbrella and white straw. Beverage Director @boozephreaks is a @startrek fan. This week he is using @1821bitters Earl Grey bitters to make a Star Trek themed cocktail with a special technique: milk-washing bourbon. MILK-WASHED BOURBON In a large vessel with a rounded bottom, add 2 oz whole milk. Carefully pour in 8 oz bourbon. Stir slowly to gather the curds. Rest for 2 hours then strain through a coffee filter. EARL GREY, TOT! 2 oz milk-washed bourbon ½ oz 2:1 honey syrup 4 dashes 1821 Earl Grey Bitters scant bar spoon lemon juice Stir well. Happy Pride Month! How do you take a classic cocktail and make it fabulous? Think Pink of course. Our Beverage Director @boozephreaks demonstrates how to turn a #GinAndTonic into a festive drink using butterfly pea flower. You can either make your own infusion or buy @empress1908gin. The butterfly pea flower imbues a deep blue/purple color and when you add tonic and lime, the acidity reacts changing the color to a fun pink. To make your own infusion, add dried pea flowers to your favorite gin and let sit for 3-5 days, shaking daily. After the last day, strain and store. Now that we’re emerging from Covid-19, he’s celebrating pandemic heroes with the: ROSA CAÍDA In an ISI Whip, add: 1 1/2 oz reposado tequila 1/2 oz 2:1 honey syrup 5 oz rose green tea Seal and charge with a CO2 cartridge. Shake well. Place in the freezer for five minutes. Shake again and then release the pressure. Pour into an iced highball. And optional flower garnish and enjoy! Happy pride! Back in 1860, Japan sent their first diplomatic delegation to the US which included a 17 year old #Samurai translator by the name of Tateishi Onojiro-Noriyuki. He was very engaging and became a darling of the media (and the ladies) and was given the nickname Tommy. As part of Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month, our Beverage Director @boozephreakstells us the story of how Japan has influenced America’s bar culture. KOFUNA Chill a coupe glass with ice and water. In a glass Yarai mixing vessel, add: ¼ oz simple syrup 2 dashes angostura bitters 2 dashes orange bitters 2 oz Kikori rice whisky Stir well with ice.
